The next day...

I was standing at the taxi rank trying to stop a cab when a short girl in school uniform approached me
"

hi, are you also schooling at Hochland high?" She asked.

"Yes, I school there" I replied, with a rather confused look on my face because we were not wearing the same school uniform.

"We should get a cab together," she said,"than we will get one faster" she continued with a bright smile on her face.

"That's a good idea shorty" I said not wanting to ask alot of questions.

By the time we got a cab it was already past eight, we were definitely late for school, and worst of all it was my first day.

"Why are you late" asked the security, as she stood at the gate preventing us from entering the school premises,"wait until the teacher arrives and takes your name's" she continued.

Me being a professional lier composed myself took a deep breath before saying,"I'm new here and I went to pay my school fees because you guy's only take bank paymens"

The security guard wasn't buying any of my lies,"you'll have to wait until the teacher arrives, than you can tell her that." She said before walking into the office.

After some time she came out and opened the gate, "you can enter" she said while making way for me to enter, "however you guy's have to wait for the principal" she said to the other learners who were standing besides me.

I walked into the office with a bright smile, feeling proud of myself,"I've finally arrived" I said jokingly to the secretary, who didn't even bother replying, she just smiled before giving me directions to my classroom.
