Chapter 1 First day

Hello guys this is my first book so I hope you guys enjoy!!

Astrid Hofferson parents died when she was 4 and her uncle stoick (Her dads best friend) and his son Hayden Haddock which he is also called Hiccup for a nickname took care of her and let her live with them. Stoick Haddock is the mayor of berk and lives with his son Hayden Haddock ( Hiccup)

In the morning ( Astrid POV)

I woke up to the sound of terrible terrors on the roof and looked at the time. It was 6:00 in the morning and it's my first day at school. I slowly got up my bed and changed my clothes.

I wore a white tank top and a brown skirt that ended above the knee and a cardigan to match with it. I went to my vanity and looked at the mirror to fix my hair. I just did some curls on my hair because I was lazy to put it in a braid and I wanted to try something new. So I checked the time and it was 6:30 and I
grabbed my bag and head down stairs for breakfast with Uncle Stoick and Hiccup.

( Hiccup POV )

I woke up to my alarm and noticed the time it was already
6:15 in the morning so I got up my bed and changed my clothes.

I wore a plain white undershirt and black pants and a varsity jacket to match and I went to fix my hair and grabbed my bag and checked the time it was already 6:30 so I head down stairs to eat breakfast with my dad and Astrid.

I got out of my door and saw Astrid in a brown skirt, white top and a cardigan. Her hair was also in curls and she looked beautiful.

"Hey Hiccup, good morning!" She said. "Oh hey Asty, morning" I said "Heading downstairs for breakfast? " she asked "Of course" I replied. We both head down stairs for breakfast and I gotta admit I'm starting to have a crush on her.

( At the living room/dining area/kitchen

( Astrid POV )

We went down stairs with Hiccup and saw uncle Stoick.
"Good morning uncle Stoick"
I said. "Morning dad" hiccup said.
"Good morning Astrid and Hiccup. How did you guys sleep?
He asked "Excellent" hiccup replied. "how about you Asty?"
Hiccup asked me. "Fine I guess"
I replied.

"Hey you okay?" he asked me again. "Y-yeah I'm fine." I replied back. We started eating but I didn't eat. I just grabbed my fork and grab my food but didn't eat.
But I think Hiccup noticed because he kept looking at my plate and asked "Hey Asty you sure your fine? Your'e not even eating. " I said " I'm fine I'm just not in the mood to eat. " "okay fine. " hiccup said. We finished eating and said goodbye to uncle Stoick then we left for school.
