"Yo momma?"
I had asked my stepfather where she was while he was sober, although even then he's just as evil.
We sat across from each other in the living room, me closest to the door in case I needed a sudden escape. Him on the other side of the room, smoking his cigar, making me cough periodically. I hate when people smoke. When his lungs stop working, he'll be sorry, cause I sure in the hell won't be sorry for him.
And to top all of this bullshit off, I was on my period and felt like my uterus was about to fall out. I clutched my lower stomach and replied to him.
"Yes, Travis, where is she?"
"Fuck did I tell you about calling me Travis?"
I sighed. "Sorry, sir."
"Dumb bitch."
"Just please tell me where my mother is."
He chuckled and gave a sly grin. I wasn't able to find anything amusing, though.
"That bitch is dead."
...
...
.......huh?
"......what?"
"She was tryna mess with my cash flow."
"You mean trying to get you to stop selling drugs?"
I was on the verge of tears, but this bastard wasn't going to see me cry.
"Hey. Money is money. I couldn't have anyone, I don't give a fuck who it was, messing with my almighty dolla. Told her I'd have one of my men take her ass out, she ain't wanna listen. So, ..... voila bitch."
His bitch ass killed my mother. My fucking mother. He must have no heart or kind of emotions at all.
For money. He killed my mother for money. Fucking greedy ass. Doesn't he know it's one of the seven deadly sins? I guess he doesn't care though. My mom is dead. She's never coming back.
Besides my sister, my mother was the only I had left. And now she's dead.
It woulda been been me, if was there. It coulda been me, since I have no purpose on Earth.
It shoulda been me.
