𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐃 in the room for the bride and bridesmaids as bella finished her makeup, while janet finished her hair, and the soft tune of george jones and tammy wynette's when true love steps in played on the radio. as janet finished with bella's hair, which was in an elegant half ponytail, embellished with flowers and ribbons, the younger brunette finished with her makeup, which was kept simple.
"thank you mom." bella smiled as she took her mother's hand, which rested on her shoulder. "i love it."
janet smiled as she kissed her daughter's temple then replied, "you're welcome honey."
"you look beautiful bella." ali smiled as she embraced her best friend. "i'm so happy for you."
bella smiled as she returned her best friend's embrace. "thanks honey. you know, none of this would have been possible if you hadn't have drug me to the dance hall that night."
ali laughed as she set her lipstick back in her makeup bag. "i think you two would have met one way or the other. besides, you two had met before."
"it was at the movies right?" janet asked as she touched up her powder
bella laughed as she touched up her lipstick and replied, "he threw milk duds at us and ali poured popcorn down his shirt, while i dumped my drink down his shirt."
"sounds like it was quite the first impression." janet laughed as she placed her powder back in her purse. "thankfully you never told your father that story."
bella smiled as she and ali stood up and walked to the closet to get bella's wedding dress. the brunette carefully unzipped the garnment bag, and took out the wedding dress, which was an ivory silk mini dress, and had a high collar, with baby blue ribbons and bows with trim embellishment, as well as a loop and fabric covered button closure to the back.
janet helped bella into the dress, while ali straightened out the bottom. after she was dressed, she put on her shoes. once janet and ali had their dresses on, a knock was heard at the door. ali opened the door to john, wyatt, and deacon. "hey ali." john smiled, as he, wyatt, and deacon embraced the blonde
ali smiled as she returned their embrace. "hi you three."
"hey sweetheart, you look beautiful." john smiled as he embraced his daughter. "you look beautiful sis." wyatt smiled as he embraced his sister. "you look beautiful, bell." deacon smiled
