Episode 2- The Daffodil Fields

A year passed by just like that and i even forgot that i had a story hanging midway! All I know is i've been battling a huge mental breakdown and my only hope to redeem myself is getting back to my writing. Getting out of this writing slump might probably give me a hope! 

Sanskaar clearly has been confused for the first time after being assigned to  a case coz he was still baffled if ragini was a culprit or the victim. 

The frame gets back to a huge mansion with sprawling greeneries around and a dreamy small daffodil field . A young girl with stern and lifeless eyes walks with a book in her hand . She walks mindlessly through the daffodil field and reaches a lone tree with a small swing , tenderly removes few crumbled leaves from it and places her feet on rustling old leaves.. she drops her book on the floor hearing the gentle rustle ...

Unknown: Ragini!!!!!!!!!!

Ragini has always been this stern, introvert for ages by chance not choice. She never had anyone by her side since childhood in spite of craving for a normal social circle -friends never existed in her life even though she tried relentlessly fitting her amidst them.

She was just surviving on her only ray of love - her sister swara !

Swara: areey ragini ! what's wrong with you ? i've been calling you like for a long time ! kya hua?

Ragini: kuch nhi, bas aisi..

Swara: wahh ragoo.. i love the one you are reading " closer to love"!

Ragini: (excited) sach mein? I can summarize this book for you , I'm already midway through it !

Swara:  Wow, do you even know me?

ragini : (baffled) Par .. kyun .. 

Swara: uff rago.. you know i dont even touch books..if that's been the case i would've passed my degree with flying colours instead of arrears piled up !  Ahhh and its just that if you put your intellectual memory to use you'd remember that your beloved sister likes the word " love " even if its written on a filthy piece of paper.. 

Ragini nods approvingly and gets back to her grim expressions...

Swara: Chalo diduuuu.. I'm so hungry yaar, the breakfast is ready and lets gobble em all!!!!!!

Swara has always been this enthusiastic extrovert with huge social circle but remains unwaveringly loyal and attached to her sister , she never lets her alone for a second . 

Ragini: Tu jaao shona! I just wanna read for few minutes and I'll join you 

Swara: Diiiiiiiiiiiiii.. ah then we'll have it my way lets hear your favorite song and leave for breakfast..you know i absolutely loath that song , but I'll hear it for you ..

Swara swipes her phone and plays the song

Paas aaye..

 Dooriyaan phir bhi kam naa hui

 Ek adhuri si hamari kahani rahi

 Aasmaan ko zameen, ye zaroori nahi 

Jaa mile.. jaa mile..

 Ishq saccha wahiJisko milti nahi 

manzilein.. manzilein..

 Rang thhe, noor tha 

Jab kareeb tu tha

 Ek jannat sa tha, yeh jahaan.. 

 Waqt ki ret pe kuch mere naam sa 

Likh ke chhod gaya tu kahaan..

 Hamari adhuri kahani..

 Swara abruptly pauses the song knowing further more of the song would break ragini's grit.. 

Swara: rago! i know you are not guilty! trust me you'll definitely see the golden light at the end of this dark tunnel.. Everything is gonna be fine !

Ragini: I hope so ! How else can i pacify myself ? My parents abandoned me at a very young age , hadn't ma and appa adopted me , i'd still be an orphan lurking in the streets for food.. 

Swara was her cousin and her parents adopted ragini when her parents passed away in a terrible car accident. Life has been really unfortunate for ragini since childhood and there's never a day she crosses without blaming herself for them, eventhough there was nothing she could do about it . 

It was Just a broken part of her childhood trauma left unhealed  for ages !

The frame shifts to sanskaar who's flipping through the pages of his recent blood thawing mysterious murder .

Sanskaar: Why would she die all of a sudden , if she was healthy ? No signs of strangulation though nor does she have a solid reason to end her life . What am i missing here ? How do i fit ragini here? Did she really commit this murder ?

Note : I'll be ending this story with maybe max 5 consecutive episodes. i'm planning to keep this short . All i can assure is i'd be posting them for my mental well-being asap so i'll end this by next week .
