CHP 1: HATE AT FIRST SIGHT

On the first day of school, Diya Ahuja was already running late. Little did she know, this day would mark a pivotal moment in her life when she unexpectedly crossed paths with the college bully. Upon her arrival at school, she was met with a shocking scene.

Several seniors were hazing a group of students, among whom was her friend, Advik. Diya, known for her strength and confidence, could not stand idly by. She bravely entered the circle of students surrounding Advik. Adhyansh, one of the seniors and the notorious college bully, was taken aback by her audacity. An argument ensued between Diya and Adhyansh. She grabbed Advik's hand, intent on rescuing him from the crowd. Although Advik managed to slip away, Adhyansh captured Diya's wrist, smirking, "I like you!" Diya was utterly stunned. As Adhyansh drew her closer by her waist, she retorted, "I'm not like the other girls who would be swayed by your handsome face and wealth."

"And that's precisely why I like you," Adhyansh replied. Their confrontation became the day's hot gossip, with rumors swirling that "Senior Adhyansh bullies Diya Ahuja and asks her to be his girlfriend." When Diya entered her classroom, she faced teasing from her classmates. She found a seat next to Priyansh Chopra, the class scholar, embodying the phrase "beauty with brains." The teacher's introduction and subsequent interactive games allowed Diya and Priyansh to slowly become friends. Meanwhile, Adhyansh, who had never been challenged by a girl before, found himself completely smitten with Diya.

Jealousy was evident on Adhyansh's face when he saw Diya laughing with Priyansh. Their next encounter was during lunch in the canteen, where Diya chose to ignore him. At that moment, a bowl of hot soup accidentally spilled on her, causing a burn.

Adhyansh rushed to fetch ointment from the medical room, but Diya had already left with Priyansh, asking him to apply ice to her burn in the deserted sports room. When Adhyansh finally found them, witnessing Priyansh's closeness to Diya enraged him. He watched from the doorway, unable to contain his anger, especially after seeing Diya embrace Priyansh in gratitude. Adhyansh then confronted them, dragging Diya to the terrace and locking the door behind them.

Diya was frightened and demanded, "What's your problem? Just leave me alone!" Adhyansh, trying to suppress his anger, questioned her actions aggressively. Diya, in tears, pleaded for him to stop hurting her.

After escaping, Diya avoided Adhyansh for a week, her disdain for him growing. However, a distressing incident in the girls' restroom, where senior girls bullied her over her supposed affection for Adhyansh, prompted him to intervene. He comforted Diya, wrapping his blazer around her torn clothes, and attempted to console her on the terrace. Feeling responsible, Adhyansh hugged her, apologizing as he later escorted her home.
