Chapter 1 -part 1

Jungkook was nervous. So nervous, he literally jumped when his cell phone buzzed from his pocket. He fumbled to pull it out and gave a silly giggle of relief when he heard Jimin on the other end.

“No. I told you. We’re not supposed to meet until three o'clock. Not for fifteen more minutes.”

“I thought he might be early.”

“Then why did you call?”

“I’m dying here! You have to call me the minute you’re done.”

Jungkook laughed, relaxing a little in the face of Jimin's characteristics, pestering impatience. “I will. I told you I would. Who else would I call?”

“Definitely not any of your other acquaintances. I can’t believe you’re really doing this. You get to have all the fun.”

“Well, you’re going to be paying him a lot of money. It sure as hell better be fun for you.”

To his infinite mortification, Jungkook blushed hotly, even sitting alone at a table in a crowded coffee shop. He mumbled something incoherent.

Jimin cackled. “What was that?”

“Shut up. I’m embarrassed enough. I’m still not sure if I’m going to go through with this.”

Jungkook cleared his throat and felt the nervous jitters in his belly again. “Um, yeah. So that’s good anyway. If I’m going to do this, I’m going to make sure it’s with the right guy.”

“You sound nervous.”

Jimins voice changed again. “Jungkook , you don’t have to do this, you know. There’s absolutely nothing weird or unnatural about you—”
“Jungkook —”

“We’ve been over and over this,” Jungkook interrupted again. “Do we have to rehash it all?”

“Well, it is pretty remarkable how hot your sex scenes are,” Jimin ventured, an edge of laughter in his voice.

Jimin cackled again on the other end of the line.

After reassuring his friend that he’d waste no time on reporting about the infamous meeting, Jungkook slid his phone back into his pocket. He noticed that the attractive man he’d seen enter had gone directly up to the counter without looking around like he was meeting someone.

Jungkook glanced around the shop to make sure another lone man wasn’t looking for him. Seeing no one, he turned to discreetly observe the red haired man again.

He decided the hero of his next novel would be burdened with that sort of deep experience.

And he’d have a completely full head of red hair.

Glancing at his watch, he noticed it was just after three o'clock. Surely this guy wouldn’t be late for a potential new client.

He was looking at the entrance with a slightly peeved expression when a voice startled him out of his impatience.

He jerked his head around and inexplicably saw the compelling, red haired man standing next to his table with his cup of coffee. Jungkook blinked up at him, wondering vaguely if he’d noticed his leering at him.

He nodded mutely.

Jungkook’s mouth dropped open, and he gaped at him.

Chapter 1 – part 2

“Yes,” he said at last, belatedly pulling himself together. He stood up and shook his hand. His grip was warmer than he’d expected. He looked so cool and polished that Jungkook thought his hand would be cooler. “Sorry. It’s nice to meet you.”
