Fire crept up the edge of the building, licking ferociously at the long dead ivy that climbed up the wall. Bright orange coloured the sky as thick black smoke billowed unendingly out of the windows and doors. A figure stood at the window, peering out at the destruction.

"I tried to warn you." He muttered to himself as he squinted to see the hordes of angry men marching up to the house, chanting at the top of their lungs. Roof slats clanged noisily to the ground, like rubble being thrown over church bells, echoing eerily through the forest that encased the house.
The man shook his head and turned away, seemingly unaffected by the scorching hot flames that were slowly making their way into the room.
He knew that they couldn't hear him, but still he continued to chastise them under his breath as he tidied things away, as if it were the most normal thing to do in a house encased in a wall of fire.

"BURN THE WITCH!" the men chanted furiously, but he took no notice as he continued flittering about the room, tidying as he went. Preparing.

"Yes. Burn the witch. See what happens." He threatened as he turned to meet his fate.

The flames became hotter as they entered the room swiftly and violently. The man chuckled to himself.

"You can burn him, but Lucas Divine is a name that you will never be able to forget!" he screamed, loud enough so the men, who were now right outside, could hear.
