The loud growl of Stellan's stomach disrupted the existing silence in the room which resulted in Dave narrowing his eyes at him.

"Is there any canteen around here?" Stellan asked awkwardly.

"Why are you looking for a canteen? There's a kitchen."

"A kitchen?! Where?" Stellan was astonished.

"Here of course. down the hallway."

Stellan immediately exited the room. And He walked straight to the kitchen.
He was more stunned by the kitchen appearance and situation. The kitchen wasn't large but it was a classical medium sized kitchen and was fully and well stocked with provisions and food stuff. And also equipped with all kinds of necessary cooking utensils.

"This is really amazing." Stellan commented, done with his survey of the kitchen.

Several minutes later, Dave sat cross legged opposite a table with a few plates of tiny leftover food laid out on the table, he exclaimed, "You are not only smart but also a good cook!"

Stellan appeared, looking freshly washed with his golden hair dripping. "What?"

"It's been a long time since I enjoyed a homemade meal. It's very delicious," Dave said with a big smile.

"Oh, thanks," Stellan felt a bit embarrassed.

"How did you learn to cook? Most Boys usually don't know how to cook or rather prefer takeout to making their own meal. But you are different, you are very good at it."

Stellan looked at him, casually he replied, "I learnt from my granny. We sometimes cook together."

"That's nice," Dave said in a low voice.

"Since you think that boys prefer takeouts to cooking, why then do you point out the kitchen to me? Were you testing me or something?" Stellan asked him with furrowed eyebrows.

Dave smirked. "Not really, from the first time I met you. Instinctively, you struck me as some kind of domestic boy. No offense," Stellan shrugged nonchalantly.

"Anyway, thanks for the meal. I enjoyed every bit of it. I am lucky to have you as my dorm mate but your significant other is the luckiest. You are not dating right?"

Stellan, who was drinking from a bottle, internally congratulated himself for not choking.
"What made you think that?" He asked in a pretended unconcerned tone.

"Nothing significant, apart from your smartness. Smart people usually don't have time for trivial things like dating as they spend their time indulging in endless studies," Dave said in a blatant manner.
Stellan didn't refute his speculation. He has more important things in his mind. During high school, he was particularly intent on going to the best universities in order to gain a lucrative job and take very good care of his granny. So, all he did was study and do more research. Moreover, after school, he would immediately go and help his granny with her fruits and vegetables's store.

Therefore, things like dating had never crossed his mind.

But, he couldn't help but also think that Dave was only talking from his own perspective.

"What a pity," Dave said intently, gazing at him.

Stellan raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What pity?"

"You are very handsome ," Dave automatically said.

Stellan blinked. "Thanks."  He couldn't help but sense that there was an underlying meaning to the statement.
"And husband material," Dave added. Stellan was left speechless.

Dave released a hearty chuckle.

Just then, a 'ding' indicating notification was heard. Dave picked up his phone nearby.
