-Wally's pov-
It's been exactly an hour and five minutes since I was put into the cold machine. I was getting quite bored just standing there waiting for something to happen, not sure why I'm here but it is what it is I guess. The phone began to ring though Poppy wasn't around to answer, I got out from where I was standing and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Poppy! How's it going over wherever you are?" they said.

"Sorry, this isn't Poppy, I'm Wally!" I told them.

"Wally? What are you to Poppy?" They asked, I was about to say something but then I stopped and wandered, What Am I to Poppy?

"Wally! What are you doing out of the fridge?" I got spooked when I heard poppy but I'm glad she's alright.

"Poppy! There's a person on the phone" I informed her as she gave me a confused look and took the phone to answer.

I just stood there trying to listen to what she and this other person were talking about but I couldn't hear a thing as to what they were saying. I just waited there patiently to ask questions since I'm still learning about this place and other things. After what seemed to be like an hour or two she finally hung up in a sigh, I looked at her confused.

"What's wrong Poppy?" I asked as she seemed spooked when I spoke.

"Oh it's nothing dear...just had some business to clear out" she replied, something in those words was telling me that she wasn't telling me the truth but I ignored that feeling for I'm not sure of anything.

"Okay, say what did they mean when they asked me 'what am I to you?' What does it mean?" I asked her.

"That just means if you're a family member, a friend, a neighbor, a partner, such to describe what you are towards the person" she explained, I still tried to comprehend this new information given to me.

"So, am I your partner then?" I asked as she seemed to give a small chuckle.

"No, no, you're simply my friend. A partner is someone with whom you share a deep emotional connection, mutual affection, and a commitment to support and care for each other. This connection goes beyond friendship, involving romantic and often long-term aspects of companionship. Do you understand?" She asked as I was still taking in the information but I nodded anyway as I finally understood it.

"Understood! Now shall we go paint Home?" I asked as she chuckled, putting her wing on my head.

"Yeah, let's go get Home painted" She said as I went to get the paint cans and headed outside.

We got outside and to my surprise the outside was such a mess, there's trash everywhere, it's all discolored and gloomy, and there's Barely anyone around here, it's all just so empty and sad. what a terrible place Home and Poppy settled in. I put the paint cans down and Poppy went back inside to get something as I stayed outside not knowing what to do so I just sat down trying to figure out how to open a paint can after a few minutes I opened it and it was from the top. Poppy came back with some stick stuck to hair. I don't know what it is or what it's for but I picked up the paint can.

"Wally, what are you doing?" She asked as I backed up and was preparing to throw it. "WALLY WAIT!—" I threw paint on the wall and it splattered all over the place and on poppy. "Wally you needed to use these brushes to paint Home, not throw paint dear" she explained as she tried to wipe off the paint from her face.

"Sorry Poppy I didn't know that"

"It's alright, at least it covered some of Home but we need to use this to cover the rest" she said as she held a stick with hair and a gray stick with what seemed to have a fluffy circlinder.
