Breezepaw had finally managed to carefully drop the heather seeds into the hole he had made in the ground before piling it up with its dirt again.

He sighed shamefully before sadly touching a certain heather gently with his nose. "I'm sorry I ripped you again, but hey, at least I planted your seeds, so... you're kind of alive...right?"

He then looked around the room he was in, it was full of heathers Heatherpaw had given him for as long as he could remember.

Her flinches and whimpers she always made after he would either claw, bite, or step on one of her offerings broke him.

He then looked up at the dirt-made roof anxiously. Should he have gone out to be at her ceremony? Did she officially gave up on trying to make him appear in the clan more? Did he upset her to the point of no turning back?

He snorted. As if he cared for WindClan's most annoying feline!

Then why do you always think about her and plant her flowers?

The WindClan appreciate rolled his eyes. It was that stupid voice again coming from his mind, the voice he typically ignored.

Ignoring it, he then closed his eyes and breathed deeply. Swallowing the warren's air. Being in a room full with the heathers, it gave the whole place...a decent enough smell.

It brought him back to an old memory...

"Bet you can't catch me!" Heatherkit meowed as she tackled the black-furred kit to the ground.

Breezekit had pushed her off from where he had been practicing battle moves. "What do you want now Heatherkit?"

She ignored his growl as she then leaped on top him and managed to grab one of his ears before collapsing again. "I'm bored, I just wanted to play with you! Besides, you are kind of alone here."

"How many times have I told you? I like being alone." He tried to remember once again how the battle move went, but it seemed as if he lost it. "Isn't there any other kits who want to play with you?"

"Yeah, but they're not as special and fun as you are."

The line made him froze for a heartbeat. "I'm not special to anyone." He whispered.

"But...you are to me." She meowed.

Breezekit hesitated before ignoring her and continuing his concentration.

"Breezepaw!"

The sudden yowl brought him back to the real world. It made him jump in surprise and crash straight into the heather's leaves. "Ow..."

Outside, Heatherpaw anxiously looked from left to right, looking for the particular apprentice. Where was he? She suddenly didn't feel as comfortable out in the moors as before, foxes could see her from a very long distance out here in the exposure.

She suddenly saw someone's shadow in front of her.

Knowing what this meant, she instinctively turned and slashed her claws.

A pained yowl was not was she expected.

"Breezepaw?"

The black apprentice was crouched into the moor earth a mouse-lenght away. He then quickly shook the pain off as he licked away some blood from Heatherpaw's scratch away from his muzzle.

"What is your deal?"

"Sorry!" Heatherpaw apologized, eyes wide, then turned to confused ones. "I'm sorry, but is that heather all over your fur?"
