Jittering falseness of the fool's mind

The world tim bles

and swipes

across the brow.

Their mar bles tum ble out of their sockets only to gaze up and over

at the person who yet exists.

Claws ext ended, digits protruding, each finger snapping into place

they grasp and moan in a dozen shrill voices

for something

to sate their desires.

Fumbling around blindly for medi cation

a pill

a needle

a patch

A stitch

Retention of self is but a hopeful dream.

Their mouths widen, maggots upon the gray discarded meat, a hoarse cry of mockery, weeping

for something to rem ember.

They wish to eat. How ever. their teeth remain soft.

Their skin bloats full of tar

and they cry in their empty sockets, an acid pours down upon the mind, dum bles and dumber.

They snatch intell ect and memory, sweeping down, wail ing at being forgotten.

Something so easily forgotten

it was almost as though

it was never
