Last night, I woke up in a hotel room. There was a woman next to me whom I didn't recognize. I couldn't remember who she was or how we got there. All I felt was a severe headache and nausea. The woman had also woken up, she smiled at me and said hello. I looked at her, confused and scared.
The woman knew my name, she told me that we had met at a bar last night, had a great time, and then came here. But I couldn't remember anything. She suggested that maybe I had forgotten because I drank too much. She offered to make me coffee and said we could have breakfast together. I told her I didn't want to go with her, I just wanted to leave.
When she heard this, she became very upset and offended. She asked me why I was acting like this. I told her that I really couldn't remember anything, and maybe it was because she had given me something. Hearing this, she became very angry and started insulting me. She accused me of lying, saying that I wanted to be with her and then run away.
I didn't believe her and asked for proof. She showed me her phone and the photos she had taken last night. In the photos, the woman and I were laughing, dancing, and kissing. I couldn't believe it. How could I do such a thing? I was married, I had a wife and children. How could I cheat on them?
After showing me the photos, she approached me and tried to hug me.
I wanted to leave the room, but the door was locked. She said she wouldn't give me the key and wouldn't let me leave without talking to her. I wanted to get away from her. I would not forgive what she had done. I started yelling at her to give me the key. She smiled at me and made an offer.
She said if I spent another night with her, she would give me the key. But if I refused, she would tell my wife and children what had happened. She showed me my phone and indicated she was about to call my wife. Hearing this, I was terrified. I didn't want my wife to find out. I loved her very much and didn't want to lose her.
The woman gave me a minute to decide. I didn't know what to do. If I accepted her offer, I would be betraying myself. But if I refused, I would lose my wife. Time was running out, and the woman was watching me.
I resisted accepting the woman's offer. I told her I would never spend another night with her. I told her what she did was terrible, that she had wronged me and my wife. I told her to give me the key, or I would call the police.
Hearing this, she became very angry and attacked me. She hit me, scratched me, bit me. I tried to defend myself. We trashed the room. Finally, I pushed her onto the bed and took the key. I opened the door and ran out.
When I reached the hotel lobby, I saw my wife waiting for me. She was happy to see me and hugged me. She asked me where I had been and why I hadn't answered my phone. I didn't know what to say to her. I just told her I loved her very much.
My wife smiled at me and said she had a surprise for me. She told me she had followed me last night, met that woman, and made a plan with her. She wanted to teach me a lesson, to test me. She told me that the woman was her friend, that she hadn't done anything to me, and that it was all an act.
I was shocked and angry when I heard this. I asked my wife how she could do this to me, how she could not trust me. My wife smiled and said she had done me a favor. She said that now I would not look at other women and would stay faithful to her.
I couldn't believe her and moved away from her. I told her that what she did was not a favor, but a cruelty. I told her it was not a test, but torture. I told her it was not a surprise, but a betrayal.
And then I left her.
