TingA sound that suddenly rang in her ear feeling like it hammered into her brain as it woke her up.
The young woman got up in a hurry panting tiredly as drops of sweat fell from her forehead.
Seeing her surroundings made her widen her eyes as confusion ran through her body
"What the ****" as multiple curses went out of the now former empress mouth she observed her surroundings.
She was sitting on a queen sized bed located at the centre of a large room that was decorated with numerous items that were obviously expensive.
It has a theme that f/n remarked to be based of a foreign country that she studied about long ago before ascending the throne.
It was obvious that this was not her room and while confusion wasn't an emotion that the ruler was used to be seen wearing she felt herself getting confused being in an unfamiliar place she never set eyes on during her years of life, she understood that she should be feeling scared yet she couldn't find herself feeling such thing which could be related to being an arrogant tyrant after all.
Yet she was still a smart royalty so she didn't fail to notice the obvious change in her body that seemed to have gotten smaller
'Magic perhaps?.." while the young woman wasn't one to believe such things she found herself thinking of such a possibility, and while there was a possibility of this being the result of a medicine or poison she instead suspected something that she deemed as mere stupidity, something that she only heard in the novels that the younger her would be forced to read when the library of the castle would run out of interesting books, yet when faced with the few devices and items that she was sure was too advanced for her world she found the possibility of becoming the victim of the thing called
"Reincarnation" after muttering the word the tyrant went into a series of laughters that her former people would deem as a sigh of nothing good, maybe she was really losing her mind just as her most trusted aid suggested, But she found herself feeling pity for the maids that she would hear wishing to reincarnate into a new world with a new body, really how sad for their heartless ruler to be granted their wish while they're stuck in their life for eternity.
The said heartless woman quickly got up and as her feet touched the comfortable carpet she started looking in her now drawers, while she decided to believe her theory for now she still looked for something sharp to use incase she was in danger, she could be in a lion den for all she knows.
Yet when her hand met the blade with a golden handle that she loved so much and was sure was crafted for her by the most professional in her world which was proven by her name written neatly on it she knew something was wrong.
Wasn't Reincarnation supposed to be about waking up with a whole different body in a new world? And she was sure that she didn't time travel not only because of the unfamiliar room or the advanced devices but because the younger her wouldn't have even dreamt of waking up without hearing the ruckus of her late brothers coming to cause chaos in her castle.
So to get her answers she looked for a mirror quickly finding her goal in a corner of the room but weirdly it was turned to face the wall as if it was to not be able to use it and that was proven right by the punch marks that was made on the centre of the mirror yet when y/n saw her reflection she couldn't help to care for such thing as facing her was her younger self that she recognised to be younger by 2 years judging by the large scar on her collarbone that she got on her 15th birthday.
and while this wasn't something that was normal to happen in one's life the young woman found a crazy grin making it's way on her face.
"Amazing" the young tyrant said with her sadistic expression that usually her poor victims had to see last before meeting their demise.
Yes this may not make sense for her but what she understood was so simple , she was transported to a new world that was much more advanced than her former one in her younger body still being blessed with wealth like her last life, and while she had a lot of questions such as whether her new parents will have to be the same as her former ones for her to still have her beautiful face or how did this version of her even live before she possessed her body she knew that wasn't for her to answer but for the rushing footsteps that she kept hearing outside of her room and she concluded were of the maids.
she believed she'd have to go out of the room to look for a servant that would answer her numerous questions seeing by the absence of the bell she was used to calling the maids with but she realised she couldn't trust going out alone even with her dear blade, oh how she missed her sword.
And ridiculously she felt more comfortable in her room so that's why instead of yelling like a mad woman for the maids she decided to do what she felt was right and that was to knock down the expensive vase next to the bed to create enough noise to alarm her servants but she didn't care to get in trouble
So after swiftly knocking the vase down She-
Stab
Struck her hand with her beloved blade.
And after a mere second passed
Bam
"My lady are you okay?!"
Numerous maids entered the room in worry.
Oh you poor women this master of yours is Anything but a lady, may god help you for these remaining days of work will be hell crafted specially for you.°
