Jungkook was standing by the door for almost 20 minutes now. That means Jungkook heard most of the conversation to know almost everything that happened with Taehyung in this meantime.

He woke up and found himself in the couch, covered with Tae's jacket. It took a few seconds to clear his mind and once he was back on his right mind, he was almost panicking once again until he heard his hyungs voices coming up from the upstairs. He gathered himself and walked up and before he walked in, he heard Tae's confession.

No one really noticed him as they were busy with Tae. Now there he is, everyone's eyes on him, and his eyes on Tae. Tae watched him with his infamous blank eyes.

There stood Jungkook, silent tears glistening in his eyes. His eyes red-rimmed....his cheek was red and Tae can see the red-ish print of his own fingers on his left cheek...gosh! That slap was harsh, wasn't it?!

Taehyung's heart clenched at the sight, a mixture of conflicting emotions swirling within him. As he looked into Jungkook's eyes, all he saw was pain and remorse.

Part of him wanted to stay cold and distant, still hurt by the earlier disrespect from Jungkook. But another part, the part that loved Jungkook more than anything else in the world, ached to comfort him, to erase the tears from his eyes and hold him close.

For a moment, Taehyung hesitated, torn between his feelings of hurt and his love for Jungkook. But then, as he looked into Jungkook's tear-filled eyes, all his anger and hurt melted away, replaced by a deep sense of longing and love.

His resolve wavered, and he couldn't bring himself to push Jungkook away, not when he looked so broken. Whatever happens, Taehyung couldn't bear to see Jungkook suffering.

Without a second thought, Taehyung reached out a hand towards Jungkook, silently inviting him into the room. 

Jungkook hesitated for a moment, his eyes searching Taehyung's face for any sign of rejection. But when he saw the love and forgiveness shining in Taehyung's eyes, he stepped forward hesitantly, his heart pounding in his chest.

-You can come to hyung, Kookie," Taehyung said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "It's okay...I promise!"

And Tae didn't had to repeat twice. As Taehyung opened his arms, Jungkook rushed into them, hugging him tightly while burying his face in Taehyung's chest as he let out a choked sob. Taehyung held him more tightly and protectively and let out a shaky relived breath after what it felt like years! His own tears mingling with Jungkook's as they clung to each other.

Jungkook: I'm sorry....I'm so so sorry hyung....please forgive me....I'm sorry...for me you got hurt...I'm so sorry.....p-please trust me-

Jungkook kept on chanting while sobbing uncontrollably in Taehyung's embrace.

-Baby sshh! First calm down please?" Taehyung pulled Jungkook into a warm tight hug, feeling the warmth of his dongsaeng's embrace easing some of the heaviness in his heart, "You didn't get me hurt kook...I'm the one who hurt you!"

Jungkook: No hyung! You left because of me and...But hyung, don't leave anymore please....I'll be a good dongsaeng to hyungs, promise...Just stay with Kookie please-

Taehyung's heart clenched at Jungkook's words, the depth of his dongsaeng's fearful apologies washing over him. "I'm here, Kookie. I'm right here," he reassured, pressing another gentle kiss to Jungkook's forehead. "I'm not going anywhere anymore, I promise...please calm down bub!"

Jungkook: Please don't get hurt... I was so scared, hyung-

Tae: Sshh...It's ok baby. See? I'm okay, Kookie! I'm fine!" he murmured, pressing a kiss to Jungkook's forehead. "And I'm sorry for making you worry...please don't cry now!"
