CHRISTMAS WAS OVER AND IT was back to normal. The football team had made it to the playoffs for the conference championship game and the cheerios were getting ready for their regional cheerleading competition. The Cheerios were currently in the gym working on a number for the regionals.

After they finished the number, the cheerleaders struck a pose and Sue grabbed her megaphone, holding it up to her face. "I'm bored." She said, causing a few of the girls to roll their eyes. "Ladies, I am at a loss. Brittany, please remind me of how I single-handedly put Cheerleading on the map."

"In 1979, you directed a made-for-TV movie about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders called...The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders." Brittany informed her.

"That is correct. And in the meantime, what's changed?" Sue asked.

"Personal grooming habits?" Quinn replied.

"What's changed is I have completely lost interest. And ladies, I blame you." Sue pointed at the girls and then turned to Becky. "Becky—more silicone falsies. Except for Nadia, hers are real unlike everyone else."

"Got it, Coach," Becky responded, passing out the chicken breasts to the girls.

Sue continued, "You will each enhance your bust with an additional pair of chicken cutlets, in an attempt to add some jiggle to what is the most boring routine I have ever witnessed."

"But Sue, this is the most elaborate routine the Cheerios have ever done," Nadia informed her. "We're shoo-ins at Regionals next week, and we're the favorite to win at nationals."

Sue picked up her megaphone and said, "And her I am still very bored." She said before putting the megaphone down. "Even things I used to think were hilarious...case in point. Sandbags, slap yourself with a chicken cutlet." Santana sighed before slapping herself in the face with the chicken breast. "Now slap Brittany." The Latina rolled her eyes and then slapped Brittany across the face with the chicken afterward. "See? Not even a chuckle."

"The problem is you keep trying to make a bigger and bigger spectacle. No matter how hard we try, we can't make a routine work unless you find a way to make it interesting for you. You have to find a way to top yourself." Nadia explained to her cheerleading coach.

"Dia, you just may have a point. But to be sure, slap yourself with a chicken cutlet." Sue instructed.

"Hell no," Nadia replied.
