Chapter 7: Space Travel

[ Somewhere on the outskirts of Jasper Drake is working on his bike at home when Arcee shows up ]

Arcee: Nice bike.

Drake: [ Sighs ] Arcee, Miko already tried. Tell Optimus I respect him, but if you're at war with the Decepticons, there's not a lot I can do to help.

Arcee: Optimus didn't send me and no one's asking for your help.

Drake: So we both agree that I'm not warrior material.

Arcee: Drake, I just lost someone I cared about, maybe it's the grief talking, maybe you're growing on me. Whatever it is, I'm just not ready to say goodbye.

Drake: [ he sighs and looks at the photo of his parents and looks back at Arcee then back at his bike ]

Zarathos: [ to Drake ] Go back with her.

[ Drake hesitates and fiddles with a wrench when Arcee starts to turn around ]

Drake: Arcee?

Arcee: Yes?

Drake: Let me grab my helmet.

Arcee: Take your time.

[ A few minutes later Arcee and Drake are driving down the road together then stopping at a red light ]

Arcee: Drake?

Drake: Hmm?

Arcee: Thank You.

Drake: Kinda guilt tripped me but you're welcome.

[ a few moments later a pink car pulls up next to them Drake looks over and sees Jack in the driver's seat and knocks on the window which Jack rolls down ]

Jack: You too huh?

Drake: Guilt tripped more like it.

[ Arcee leans to one side a little far almost making Drake fall off ]

Drake: Ok I'm kidding but yeah.

[ The light turns green and the four take off down the road to the base ]

[ At The Base ]

Jack: Hey, guess who's back?

[ as Arcee and Elita change to bot mode Drake climbs the ladder to the platform ]

Optimus Prime: Autobots, prepare for departure.

Arcee: Where to?

Miko: The final frontier.

Jack: Space? I thought they didn't have any way to get there.

Raf: They don't, really

Jack: [ To Elita ] Be seeing you?

[ Ratchet Activates the ground bridge ]

Raf: [To Bumblebee ] Be careful, Bee.

Miko: [ To Bulkhead ] I'm so jealous.

Bulkhead: Don't even think of following me.
