This knight bears jet-black hair streaked with white, complemented by eyes of deep black with a hint of crimson, projecting an aura of strength and mystery. He was wearing the standard shiny amor.
Maridith stared couldn't help but stare. Usually she would care, but something about him was just so mesmerizing.... and he was kinda hot...? She blushed a bit. She shook her head, "STOP! MARY, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING...!? You don't even know him, and it's against the rules. Pull yourself together-!" She thought to herself. (Mary was her nickname that her dad gave her when sphe was young, but he died.)
"MARIDITH !!" Her mom yelled. Mary jumped up and yelped, realizing her mom was talking to her. She then looked back at her mom, a bit nervous.
"S-Sorry..."
"It's alright. Anyways- This is your new bodyguard/knight." She stated. "Oh- And have you found yourself a husband yet-? Because if not, then I'll find one for you, it's been to long."
"H-Huh-? But I thought you told me I had time-! And I already told you that I don't want to marry mother-!?" Maridith raised her voice a bit when she said this. Her mother gave her a look, before scoffing.
"Too bad. It's required if you want to be queen. And since you dont have anybody in mind, I'll choose for you. If fact I have someone in mind." She calmly stated. Before Maridith could reject this idea, she got put out.
Maridith sighed and walked back to her room, the attractive knight following behind her. All she can think about is her mother's words. As she gets to her room, she noticed it started to get dark. She went into her gaint walk-in closet and debated on what to wear for bed. She decided to wear a grey tank top over her under garments. Other than that, she had socks, but that was it (You didn't think royalty ALWAYS wore fancy clothes, did you?). She plopped onto her bed and stared at the ceiling. She heard someone in her doorway.
"U-Uh... P-Princess-?" Her new knight said, his face bright red. Maridith stared at him for a moment before her face goes red and she quickly got up before throwing on some sweatpants.
"OH SHIT-! I... U-Um.... sorry, I didn't know y-you were in here...?" She nervously said. She wondered why he was in here, and not outside. I mean... she didn't mind... but still-! "I-Im so sorry-!"
Before she could continue, he interrupted. "No, it's alright.... I didn't see much..."
"Yah... don't you agree that it isn't fair..? I wanna marry someone for love, not just be queen. Not just cause my mom says so... but then again... I do wanna be queen...." She said, trying to avoid the embarrassing moment from just now.
"I know, it's especially hard to love someone by force when you dont love them, and marrying is even harder. I wish you luck, my princess." He said before bowing.
"Thanks for understanding, you can go now" She said as she nodded and smiles. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight" He stated before calmly walking out the room. Mardith stared at the door as the knight closed it. She remembered she never even asked the name of him, so she would do that tomorrow. She sighed, there was something about him that was just so... mesmerizing... she didn't know what though.
