Ishaani smiled, glanced at Aahan, and pushed the pastry towards him, expressing, "Thank you."

This made Aahan smile and he calmly said "you knew it"

"Knew what? What are you guys talking about?" Ani asked impatiently

"Actually when I was-"

Before ishaani could complete Aahan said interrupting her "nothing"

"Why are you laying aahan?" ishaani asked and continued "As I hurried to my classroom because I was late, I didn't initially notice some seniors calling out to me, possibly for hazing. However, when I finally realized someone was calling me, I turned around and witnessed Aahan issuing a cautionary message to those individuals"

In her excitement ishaani didn't notice the shocked 😯 expression of Ani and Aamna and continued "I recognized Aahan by his voice, even though I couldn't see his face until later, and I was certain it was him after hearing him speak once as I had clearly heard his voice then"

"Why are you guys staring at me?" Ishaani asked when finally she looked at Ani and Aamna after she finished her story.

"Nothing we were just a little sho.. aa.. ouch.." aamna tried to act normal but before she could complete she felt pain in her foot

Aamna: "WTF. why the hell you kicked me ?"

"So, you're suggesting that the Aahan Malhotra, who rarely speaks, is dubbed as a silent admirer, doesn't show concern for others, is a bookworm, extremely introverted, and much more, was the one who helped you?" Ani asked while completely ignoring aamna who he had just kicked to know if he was dreaming or not.

Ishaani laughed at ani's question and gid expressions that were too serious as if he had heard the most unbelievable news he could.

While joking and teasing each other, they finished their food and headed toward their classes. On the way, Aahan stopped, turned to Ishaani, and said, "Ishaani, I'll wait for you at the exit"

At first, Ishaani looked a bit confused, but soon she realized what he meant. A slight smile appeared on her face, and she simply nodded and moved towards the first year class

"Ummm I'll wait for you" aamna teased aahan

"It's not like that, Amu. I just... I mean, Mom asked for this... so... I was just trying to... to help" aahan nervously defended himself

"Help shelp hnn" Ani commented and continued

"Btw did you notice they both were wearing the same hoodie"

"Oh yes, they looked like a perfect couple."

At a café on the other side of the city:

"Tell me what happened." A tough voice of a lady wearing business suit acoed

"Nothing." The girl sitting in front of her replied

"Do you think I'm blind? Okay, I'm sorry, but I can see how upset you've been Aadhya" The lady in soft voice continued "you know na you can share anything with me"

Aadhya looked down at the ground without responding.

The woman sitting across from her took a deep breath and calmly asked, "Is this about Kartik?"

Upon hearing the question, a tear rolled down Aadhya's cheek.

EVENING TIME

"Aren't you ready yet?" Aamna asked Ishaani, looking stunning in her flowy short dress.

"Ready? For what?" Ishaani responded, clearly confused.
