Chapter 7

The next morning around 5:00 I felt Adam get out of bed. I heard his light footsteps making their way to the bathroom. After about 45 minutes he walked out dressed in his suit and black dress shoes, ready to go. He walked over to my side of our shared bed and kissed me on the forehead, "Bye sweetheart, I love you. I'll be back soon". After that he grabbed his coat and his duffel bag and left then room. I slowly drifted back to sleep knowing that I would see Adam in just a few hours.
-Chase's POV:- Dad are you sure you don't want me to go on this pack business meeting with you and Adam? "Yes son, your brother is the upcoming alpha. Only him and I need to attend this meeting. Now go get some rest it's going to be a long day." He replied with a grim face. Okay I will be in my room. As soon as I turned the corner to climb up the stairs Adam and my father left. Time to start! I walked to Adam and Amay's shared room on the third floor. I slowly opened the door and peaked inside, I saw a sleeping figure in the bed. I grabbed the cloth out of my pocket that I had soaked in Chloroform the night before. I slowly made my way to the bed and stood over Amya's sleeping figure. I took the cloth and slowly placed it over her mouth, instantly she awoke and started to struggle, but it was to late. She breathed in the chloroform and went limp. I picked up her unconscious form and made my way to the elevator. I pressed level 1 and waited for the elevator to move. Once the door opened I made my way to the back door where my car awaited. I opened the trunk placed Amya in and closed the trunk. As I got in the drivers seat, started the car, and backed out of the driveway I said aloud, I've got you now.
