Revenge

I gave you my heart
And you shattered into a million pieces
I was sweet like a pack of Reese’s
But now I see that I must be bitter
And stomp on you like you’re a small critter

I didn’t want to make this situation bigger
But get ready for a real killer
Cause guess what I’m your designated hitter
I gave you my time and you treated it like trash
And our memories are all burnt to ash

To you, this might all seem brash
But it was my heart that went with a crash
When all is said and all is done
I will be the one with the gun

My dream come true is to say goodbye to you
But I guess that will never happen
Because of a single strike of lightning
To you, this will be frightening
