"276... 277... 278... 279... 280... 281... 282... 283... 284... 285..." Brave kicked his legs as he stared out the window, the cars next to them passing by as the light turned green.
"Are you gonna count EVERY car you see?"
"No... maybe... yes. Yes I am" He started counting in his head, making sure not to miss a single car.
"Well stop that, we're coming to the next stop" Bright looked straight ahead, a bus stop slowly coming into view from the bus windshield.
"Why does that matter?""It's Wizards neighborhood. Ya' know, your crush!" She smiled as Braves face turned a bright red, completely have forgotten about yesterday morning. "I expect you to peering towards them back of the bus again"
"Wow you're so funny... so quirky..." Brave mocked, his mind now counting trees as they neared the houses. 825 this time! The bus door opened. Wizard, who was the first one on, quickly rushed to the back as Strawberry cowardly followed behind. Brave watched as she took her seat beside Wizard, quickly looking away as Strawberry glanced at him.
"Has he ever done that before?" Brave asked, his voice slightly above a whisper.
"Done what?"
"Wizard cookie, has he ever ran onto the bus like that?"
"I don't know... maybe? As if I ever paid attention"...
Time quickly passed, the bus made its final stop at the school. Like always Brave and Bright were the first ones out, with some other kids following suit. They grabbed their breakfast and separated for the morning.
Brave entered the classroom, Birthday Cake there in her seat, pouring milk into her cereal. Brave sat across from her, opening his bag and taking out a chocolate muffin.
"Hello! Nice to see you still exist! After what happened at lunch yesterday I thought-!" Birthday smiled, although she was quickly interrupted by Brave...
"Do you have any classes with Wizard cookie?"
"Huh..?"
"Do you have any classes... with Wizard cookie?"
"Oh uh... no... I don't think so... maybe PE... but I hate PE so... I don't know"
"Well he acted kinda strange on the bus. He and Strawberry didn't see to talk much to each other the entire ride"
"How do you know this? Don't you sit at the very front of the bus? Like, a foot or two beside the door?"Brave stayed silent for a few seconds.
"Well-?" Birthday said after over 10 whole seconds of the two sitting in pure silence
"Sometimes I blackout on the bus and do things normals like you would consider concerning- This is not about me!"
"Well as long as no one is dead, does it really matter if someone is acting weird? You've only started to stalk him, you don't know any of his behaviors yet" Birthday dipped her spoon into her cereal, taking a bite of it.
"Stalk?"
"Yes. Wizards life doesn't concern you in any way. Mind your business!"Just as she said that Wizard cookie quietly entered the room. Strawberry was behind him, handing him a small piece of paper as he adjusts his seat.
Wizard crumpled up the paper and tossed it into his bag. Strawberry simply walked away, holding her breakfast closely. Wizard didn't have any...
"Well now I'm not hungry anymore..." Birthday pushed her seat out, grabbing her food and throwing it away on her way out. Braves own hunger began to decline itself. Food wasters.
Brave couldn't help but look at Wizard cookie, it's not like he would notice as his head as down, buried in his arms.
Wizard looked like he was breathing heavily, shaking slightly even. Brave almost got out of his seat when Birthday Cake came back in the room, ultimately stopping him.
