Can guided the woman through the bedroom towards the balcony doors, saying, "This is the view I mentioned earlier."
She let out a gasp. "Oh my!"
"Didn't I tell you it was absolutely breathtaking?" Can grinned. "And even in the morning sunlight, it's still amazing because the bed is positioned perfectly for you to enjoy the view whenever you please."
"I have a feeling I'm going to adore this place," she nodded. "Just this view alone makes it worth every money."
"Have you had a chance to check out the bathroom and rooftop terrace yet? As I stated earlier, since you have the top penthouse, the terrace belongs solely to you."
"Music to my ears!" she cheered.
Can wrapped up his final appointment of the day with a successful sale. He then made his way back to the office to take care of the paperwork. Once that was done, he rushed outside to find Chaem, but she was already on a call. Can decided to wait patiently for her to finish.
"I just sold 'Palazzo' today."
"Wow, how long did it take you? Twelve hours?"
Can smiled. "Around that time, yeah."
"You owe me a drink for all your hard work."
"Sure thing, anytime you want it."
Chaem playfully raised her eyebrows at him, and Can chuckled before glancing back. "Did you see Tin today?"
"No, but he's around." Chaem leaned forward to look down the hallway. "His status was updated to 'in' this morning. Maybe he's on a different floor taking care of some things."
"Yeah." Can turned to look at her. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good. I'll make sure to pass this on to the owners of 'Palazzo' for you."
"Great." He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll catch up with you later."
"If Tin asks for you?"
Can shook his head. "He won't."
"What's happening between you two? I thought this was just another argument between friends."
"It's a lengthy tale, my dear. One I'd rather not go over again. I'll catch up with you later."
"But, Can!"
Can quickly dashed away from the desk and slipped into the elevator just as the doors were about to close. He wasn't particularly in a hurry, but he wanted to avoid any further questioning.
As he emerged through the front doors of their building, he had to shield his eyes with sunglasses. The bright afternoon sun was dazzling. Pausing on the highest step, he exchanged pleasantries with fellow agents before briskly making his way to his car and settling into the driver's seat.
Lemon was absolutely correct. It was high time for a well-deserved break. It had been three long years since he last embarked on a leisurely trip. All his previous travels were solely for work-related purposes such as conferences, classes, and business deals. There was never an opportunity for him to simply relax on a beautiful beach with a refreshing beer in hand.
Taking a moment to collect his ideas, Can pondered on where his initial destination should be. After mentally juggling all his pending tasks, he concluded that his first stop should be to purchase some new clothes.
However, as soon as he arrived home, any desire to have a beer and sulk vanished. The instant he unlocked the door, he sensed that he wasn't alone. A small part of him hoped it was Tin, but deep down, he knew it wasn't. After quietly entering his bedroom to unload his belongings, he headed towards the kitchen only to discover Lemon joyfully dancing to Prince Royce " Stuck On a Feeling (feat. Snoop Dogg)" It was an unconventional choice for a dance song, more of a passionate and intense tune. Nevertheless, he leaned against the doorframe, observing Lemon's energetic moves.
