Y/N POV:

Damn last night was wild. Mariah just left because she had to be at the studio today. And just perfect timing I hear my phone going off.

I answer the face time call. 

"Well well well if it isn't the MAN OF THE HOUR" John said with a wide ass grin on his face. 

"Man shut up" I said laughing. 

"So how was it?" John asked. 

"Fuuuuckkkk it was wild asf!!!" I smiled reminiscing of last night. 

"That's what's up man, proud of you my boy" John replied

"Preciate you brodie." I replied and I hear someone in the background on John's side talking

"Excuse me sir, what did you do?" Victoria butted it taking the phone from John.

"Hi Vic, we gonna hit up the studio today or what?" I asked trying to avoid the subject.

"Uh uh don't try to dodge the question. You not slick boy" Vic said laughing. 

"I slept with Mariah last night" I smirked 

"Mariah who? The Scientist?" Vic questioned. 

"MHHHM she so fucking sexy frr" 

"Okaaaaay y/n I see you getting out there. You know one of my girls might be good for you if you back out on the scene." Vic implied. 

"Alright alright leave my boy alone" John grabbed the phone from Vic. 

"Ugh whatever meet me at the stu tonight y/n" Vic shouted. 

"Hah okay Vic. I'll catch yall later bro" I said before hanging up

Y/n POV: 

A week later.....

I just got to the studio to work on some new material. Vic is suppose to get here shortly so I decided to just mess around with some stuff to see if I get anything good. As I am working I hear my phone beep. 

Mariah: Hey baby, wyd?

I smiled at my phone and replied back.

y/n: Working in the studio right now. What's your fine ass doing? 😏

Mariah: Just finished up. I want to come see you 😩

Y/n: Victoria is about to come for a session but I can come see you after. 

Mariah: 😔 

Y/n: I'm sorry work is just a little busy we trying to get Vic's album done. Ima come see you after though I promise 😘😘

I locked my phone brushed it off and got to work. Vic just got here and she had some lines in her mind.

"Y/n what do you think about this? 

I put that on my mama, 

on my hood, I look fly.

I look good. You can't touch my swag but you wish you could.

I look fly, I look too good." 

"That's fiiiyy let me see what I got for that. I think I sampled I look good a while back" I said as I was searching for the track. 

"Found it!!" I said excitedly as I played it for Vic. 

"That's the one y/n!!!" Vic shouted.

She laid down some vocals to get an idea on how the song is gonna go. And got to writing. 

<<Time skip to finishing the song>>

"Dang, girl, you really knocked it out of the park with this one," I said, brimming with pride."It's pretty good, huh?" Vic replied, a smirk playing on her lips. "But seriously, y/n, thank you.""Anything for you, sis, you know I've always got your back!""So, how are things with Mariah?" Vic inquired, her curiosity piqued.

"It's nothing too serious," I began, shaking my head slightly. "We've been spending almost every day together since we met. But I've been noticing some red flags." 

"Red flags like what?" Vic asked, concern evident in her tone.

"Well," I hesitated, choosing my words carefully, "she got upset when I told her she couldn't come see me because I was busy working on meeting a deadline for your album."

"Oh hell nah," Vic remarked with a furrowed brow. "It sounds like she might interfere you of your priorities. Have you talked to her about it?"

"Yeah, it's nothing too serious," I reassured Vic. "I'm just trying to meet new people and have some fun, you know? But I'll definitely keep an eye on things and see how it goes."

"As you should bro" Vic said with a smile. 

"Haha I appreciate you Vic! We meeting tomorrow for another session?" I asked

"Yeah, for sure!" Vic responded eagerly. "We gotta keep the momentum going on this album. See you tomorrow!" 

"Alright bet" I said, giving her a warm hug.
