The kids waited for the arrival of their father and mother and prepared a special treat at home.
When the parents came back all the lights were off and they wondered what happened to the light when he turned on the light mrs Elizabeth was shocked to see the big written word made by her kids
"WELCOME BACK HOME MOM"
It made her teary ,when the Chris was his wife was about to cry he console her and prevent her from cry.
"don't cry or else it would trigger your illness and make the situation worse" he warned.
She smiled and hugged his kids and her husband.
"I don't know what I would have been if not for the four of you, you are my sunshine and rainbows " she said and smiled.
"mom,welcome back home, I am happy to see you in good health. " Skyler said
Skyler and her brother were just two years old.
"thanks sweetie "said Elizabeth.
She hugged her and her husband and kissed him in the presence of her children
"Eww mom will you stop the lovey dicey please the food is getting cold and I am hungry "said christian.
"sorry sweetie "said Elizabeth and Blushing hard.
They ate their meal as one happy family when it was time to to sleep their mother told them a bed-time story and kissed them.
Mrs black went into the living room with her husband. On her way to the living room she saw her husband crying which broke her heart. She knew it was her health issues that made him cry silently.
"Babe"said Elizabeth
"Huh sorry if I woke you up go back to sleep I will talk to you later."said Chris scrubbing his eyes.
"I know you were crying cause of my health issue."said Elizabeth.
"don't worry I will gather up the money for your medical expenses, just make sure you are in good health this period because I don't want to loss you."said Chris sobing
"darling where do you think you will get such kind of money from, my kids future are better than my life "
"No!no!! . "said Chris interrupting his wife
"Chris listen to me 13.5million is not going to be found easily I want the best for my kids ,promise me. " Mrs black said
"No, I don't want to loss you."chris said sobing.
"Listen to me you have to promise me that you will take care of my kids till they finish their education. Promise me chris." elizabeth said weeping and stammering.
Chris looked at this wife without saying a word.
"promise me Chris please ."said Elizabeth
"fine I promise you but you must hold strong for me to look for the money for your surgery"sais Chris.
"yeah I will"said Elizabeth
Not knowing some was eavesdropping
One year later
On one faithful day when. Elizabeth kids has gone to school and her husband has gone to work, she was in the kitchen preparing lunch for her kids if they get back .
They sickness suddenly triggered up and she was going to her take her bath and she slip and fell hold her heart cause she was in great pain she could no longer hold on to the pain and she collapsed.
When her kids came back from school they did not see their mom they taught she has gone out to meet their daddy they ate the food, did their assignments and took their bath.
But christian who know something was off and their mother had never stayed out late before. So he decided to check on her in her room and found his mom on the ground lifeless and ran to her
"mom, mom what happened wake up please you are making me scared mom", he checked her pulse and found out she is not breathing again. He ran to get her phone and called his dad he called him it took time before he picked it.
"sweetheart, what happened how are you doing don't worry I will be back"chris said
"No dad it not mom it me I think mom is not breathing again "christian said.
"WHAT!,what did you just say "Chris said In shock dropping the scissors in his hand and he ran out of the shop .
They arrived at the hospital, Chris was shouting for attention .they attended to them and took his wife to the emergency room it was ongoing for three hours and it turned off after the surgery was done.
"who is the relative of the Mrs black "the doctor said.
"I am the one and she is my wife, doctor how is she"chris said in a teary voice.
"we lost her "the doctor said.
"no doctor that not true my wife is not dead"chris said.
"Am sorry Mr black"the doctor said and tapped him.
Chris screamed out in tears.
