KAUSAMBHI
The Royal court was buzzing with people,kings from surrounding kingdoms had arrived on invitation of Emperor Amarendra.There were lady dancers dancing and servants serving drinks to the guests.Haseena too was present there sitting beside her father.
"Aap sab aaj yaha humare amantran par aaye hain iss baat ka humein atyant harsh hain.Aap sab humare atithi hain,aap sabke liye atithi grah sajj ho chuka hain,aap sab waha vishram kijiye,raatri bhojan hum sab saath karenge."Amarendra said and one by one the kings started departing.
"Maharaj Himabardhan."Amarendra Singh called from behind and Haseena and her father stopped and turned towards the king.Amarendra walked down his throne and stood infront of Haseena.
"Rajkumari Haseena.Kaisi ho tum putri?"Amarendra asked affectionately.
"Hum kushal hain Maharaj."Haseena replied with a courteous smile.
"Tumhe aakhri baar jab humne dekha tha tum keval 8 varsh ki thi,dekhte dekhte 10 saal beet chuke hain,kitni badi hogayi ho.Tumhe dekhke aaj bohot prasannata hui."Amarendra said.
"Tumhare liye humne atithi grah nahi balki andar mahel mein kamra sajj karwaya hain,tum wahi rahogi."
"Aapka dhanyawad Maharaj parantu hum andar mahel mein kaise?"Haseena asked hesitating.
"Betiyan Lakshmi ka roop hoti hain aur Lakshmi ko atithi grah mein kaise rukne de sakte hain.Humare Mitra Indragupta ki putri bhi aayi hain aur woh bhi andar mahel mein hi hain...tum daasiyon k saath jao."Amarendra said and Haseena obliged without arguing.
"Aapki putri badi hokar aur bhi zyada Sundar hogayi hain aur suna hain Dhanur Vidya aur talwarbaazi mein bhi nripun hain Haseena."Amarendra said to Himavardhan with a smile.
"Haan,humari putri hain hi sarvgun sampann apni Maa par gayi hain."Himavardhan said proud of his daughter.
"Putri k vivah k vishai mein kuch socha hain aapne?"Amarendra asked.
"Abhitak toh nahi Maharaj parantu iski vivaah ki chinta satati hain humein.Humara swasth aajkal thik nahi raheta parantu shighrata mein apni putri ka haath kisi aur k haath mein bhi toh nahi thama sakte."Himavardhan said sighing.
"Uchit hain,hum bhi ek putri k Pita hain....hum aapki chinta samajhte hain.Aap jakar vishram kijiye abhi."Amarendra said.

NEXT DAY
Haseena was roaming in the palace garden when she saw a man pointing his bow and arrow towards a tree,she looked at that direction and gasped as she saw a bird's nest with eggs in it.
"Kaisa nirdayi insaan hain,bewajah ek pakshi ko peedha Dene wala hain."She murmured angrily.She picked up a bow and arrow kept on a nearby table and aiming it straight hit the arrow that was going towards the tree.
Anubhav got angry as he saw his arrow being hit by someone else's.He looked to his right from where the arrow came and saw Haseena standing there holding the bow.
"Tumne humara Nishana bifal kyun Kiya?"He asked angrily.
"Toh kya aise hi tumhe uss pakshi k ghosle ko todne dete?"Haseena asked in same tone.
"Hum uss pakshi k ghosle ko nahi balki uske bagal mein jo mithe aam hain unhe todna chahte hain.Aur ho kon tum,mahel mein ghusi kaise?"Anubhav asked.
