Felix liked feeling the sticky sweat dripping down from the back of his neck to the trenches of his spine. He loved the bar scene. He loved when the faceless bodies swarmed around him. He loved the laser and the dancing of neon lights. He loved flirting. He loved alcohol oh-so dearly even when he got sick in the morning. He loved getting drunk out of his mind. He loved the smell of mixed up pheromones from alphas and omegas alike that permeated through the thick air; loved how it was hard to breathe as it was all rejected by his lungs.

Felix loved his freedom too much to just give it up for a random engagement that his old fashioned, and religious folks wanted him to follow through.

Fuck this. Fuck them and the guy they wanted him to marry. Fuck their stupid business and their stupid ass church. He wanted none of that – wanted to take no part of that. The omega never even thought of having a mate in the first place, wanting to just enjoy his life and party all the time until his knees called him invalid due to age. After all, he didn't just rebelled hard against his parents to gain some liberation only for it to be stripped away from him once again. He's only beginning his life. He's yet to start, but it was already being threatened.

He loved his freedom too much, and yet he couldn't do anything about the engagement when his father threatened to take everything away from him if had he refused to go through with it, and as much as Felix would like to think that he's a bad and independent bitch, he knew for a fact that his parents didn't play. They could indeed take everything away from him and tear his dance studio down in a blink of an eye and he couldn't risk that.

He loved his freedom too much and yet he’s only a blink away from kissing it goodbye to go and get tied up to a random alpha dude Felix didn’t even know anything about for the sake of something he loved even more. He had to choose, and the weight fell heavier on his hard-earned dream that was in the line.

For one, he could already picture an ugly religious nerd who sucks on his parents’ wealth and was probably a virgin at the age of twenty-five.

The omega hated it. He cursed the day he would meet said loser alpha to forfeit things he held dear for him.

So he decided that tonight, he's gonna party like a wild fucking animal. He's gonna get drunk like there's no tomorrow, and gonna dance like it was his last day on earth because who knows what type of a man that unknown alpha could be, right? For all Felix knew, the dude could be a control freak and put a tight leash around Felix's neck, or worse he could be just an overall psychopath. The thoughts are just too scary and too fucking realistic to just be shoved away, and he didn't want to dwell on it, honestly. Just thinking about all of it and the stress that he had to go through trying to defy his parents only to cave in in the end, had Felix wanting to commit arson and he's too pretty to be in prison, so he's gonna party to his heart's content instead.

Tomorrow's concerns are for tomorrow's Felix to deal with because the tonight's Felix would only like to think about the tonight's party.

Felix did as he said he would do. He smoked, he danced with slicky strangers, he kissed random guys who wanted a taste of him, he got drunk until his mind was all foggy and clouded by the alcohol. His friends didn't stop him, understanding his distress, which the omega was thankful for since that allowed him to have more space and be a little more careless, knowing his friends wouldn't let him be harmed.

Felix would like to believe that it was fun, even though his head was throbbing so bad the next day, he wanted to tear his head apart by driving his car through a brick wall.

He woke up fifteen minutes later than the already late schedule he had planned for his meeting with his parents.

The omega scrambled to get ready after texting his parents that he's going to be late due to some bullshit emergency he said had occurred.

Stomach churning, eyes a little blurry and head pulsing, Felix managed to get to the villa his parents owned okay. The lunch date was set there for whatever reason he couldn't care less at the moment as he stumbled through the huge double doors that lead to a massive hallway down to the living room.

Felix really wanted to hurry inside and just get this meeting over with but his head suddenly spun around, and the nausea caught up to him that he needed to make a detour to the nearest bathroom. Everything to him was in a blur that he didn't even notice passing by a man on his way to a room where he knew a bathroom was.

Heels off and left somewhere, Felix struggled to keep himself up properly as he emptied his stomach in the toilet bowl, cringing at himself for even doing so.

“Are you okay?”

He almost screamed in surprise when he felt a hand gently tapping on his back, coaxing Felix's insides to be a little easy on him and it worked great wonders.

The omega flushed the vomit away, pushed himself up to quickly wash his mouth then waited until his breathing got even and only did he look at the owner of the hand that had gently tapped on his back, as if promising him the most care he'd ever get in this hell of a lifetime.

He left the bathroom to see a man sitting on the bed who appeared to be waiting for him, and for a moment, everything just stopped spinning. His eyes finding the only thing that mattered in the room, blurry eyes suddenly as clear as a microscope, even having seen that tiniest, most adorable freckled dot under the other's left eye through the distance.

"How are you feeling?" Was how the guy greeted him as soon as the little omega caught his eyes.

Despite himself, Felix scanned the other from head to toe. The other was dressed good enough in decent attire, just a simple dress shirt and black slacks. Nothing fancy for a luxurious display, just a gold watch and a few silver rings. Taking mental notes of the other's clean style, Felix's eyes moved to the other's face once again.

The other man was breathtakingly fine. No, screw that. He's so fucking handsome, it was quite annoying how much. Felix usually like bulky alphas with rugged style. The type that looked like they wouldn't treat him right, but usually the type that couldn't handle him and his shenanigans... And yet Felix might just have a new type — a clean and sexy one with lean yet proportionate body and mid-length hair, beautiful tall nose, eyes sharp as a knife but gentle as the clouds, lips of the colour red Felix had never been so hungry to taste — just over all a very eye-catching face.

“What are you doing here?” The omega asked calmly despite the raging storm inside his head.

He already knew what the other's business was being in their humble abode but Felix needed confirmation.

The other averted his eyes, clearing his throat awkwardly before speaking again.

Fucking hell, I'm having a stroke.

“I'm a guest.”

Right. Fuck.

That wasn't what he was expecting. He wasn't expecting to see such a fucking handsome face and oozing charms that rooted mostly from simplicity. Where's the nerdy church boy alpha to prove him right and validate his hostility towards the whole deal?

What was this?

He's already expecting all things bad, and yet… what's this?!

Felix closed his eyes, exhaling sharply as he tried to calm down.

“I'm okay,” Felix let out after a moment of needed silence, referring to the other's previous question. “Do you mind going back to where you're supposed to be first, or would you wait for me while I fix myself?”

Felix began to unbutton the first bead of his cropped cardigan, shamelessly staring at the other male who immediately shot up to his feet and with a shy and awkward smile. “uh, right. Of course,” the taller male (Felix never wanted to fall to his knees so bad,) cleared his throat. “I'm heading out then. Take… take care,” Then he's out of the door in a haste.

Felix only watched him until the other male was completely out of sight and the door was shut behind him.

“He smells so damn good and he has cute fucking dimples, good God.”
