Flo's POV

I dress in hoodies, shorts, beanies and high top converse.
"Why do you dress like that?" My mother asked.
"Because this is comfortable! Not a frigging dress with pearls!" I said.
That's right. My family is rich. Filfy rich.
My father is a lawyer and my mother is a modle. Me I am a teenager, and I love singing.
I have an older sister, she's called Abigail.
She is the smartly dressed one. She wears dresses, delicate shoes and jewerelly. Honestly, I just think it weighs you down.
My full name is Flaurence Knowels. I litterally hate Flaurence, so I always say Flo.
I have really good friends at school. My best friends are Lilly and Ashton.
Ash sings aswell, but he also plays the drums. Lilly is an actress. She very good at making things very dramatic.
Lilly is quite a chill person but give her a script and she's a completely different person.
"Flo! Look at the state of your room!" My mother called to me.
"Mum! Its my room I can do what I want!" I called back.
"I hate it when you call me mum."
"I hate it that you called me Flaurence but do you see me complaning?" I stated.
"Don't get cheeky with me, young lady." She said folding her arms.
I rolled my eyes.
I stood up from my bed.
"Are you going to tidy your room?" My mother asked me.
"Nope. My room is staying the way it is. I'm going out, away from you and Abi." I said, grabbing my skateboard.
My dad works till about 5. Right now its only half 4.
"Flaurence! I am sick of your behavier!" My mum shouted.
"And I'm sick of this family." I mumbled.
I went to the skate park. Ash was there. I skated over to him.
"Hey Flaurence." He smirked.
"You I hate it when you call me that." I mumbled.
"I know. Thats why I do it." He chuckled.
"Fine have it your way Ashley." I smirked.
"Ashley? Ashley!" He started yelling.
"Whats wrong Ashley?" I asked, smiling.
"Thats it!" He yelled jumping up and skating towards me. I burst out laughing and skated away from him.
"You're gunna get it Flaurence." He was shouting.
"Ok, Ashley." I yelled.
I looked back for a second just to see where Ash was. I bumped right into someone.
"Oh My God. I am so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." I said, quite quickly.
"Its fine." A deep voice said. I helped him to his feet.
Oh my glob. It was Max Evans. I have like the biggest crush on him ever.
"Thanks." He smiled.
"Flaurence!" Ash called.
"What do you want Ashley?"
"Ashley? Isnt that a girl name?" Max asked.
"Yeah but it annoys him. Plus he deserves it. I hate it when people call me Flaurence. I prefer Flo." I smirked.
"Well, Flo I'm Max. We should catch up sometime." Max said.
"That we should. See you tomorrow." I smiled.
"I have school." Max said.
"See you in school is what I meant." I giggled.
"You go to Shine High?" He asked.
"Yeah. I think you know my sister."
"Whos your sister?"
"Abigail Knowels." I answered.
"Oh yeah. I do know her. Well see you tomorrow."
"Bye Max." I waved.

.*.*.

I sigh as I walk through the door. It was like a dreamy sigh.
"Someone's happy." My dad said.
"What happened?"
I tell me dad everything that goes on. He's the only one who actually listens to what I have to say.
"Max Evans just talked to me. Like a real talk!" I squealed.
"Really? Thats nice!" My dad smiled at my excitement.
"Whats nice?" My sister earwigged.
"Max Evans." I said in a dreamy voice.
"Max? Oh he is good looking isnt he? What about him."
"What do you care?" I said bitterly.
"Flaurence, calm down." Abigail smirked.
I went to pounce on her but dad grabbed me and carried me to my room.
"Flo, calm down." He said soothingly.
I breathed in and out, calming myself down.
"Good girl. Now, I have a gift for you. But I'll give it to you after dinner." He smiled.
"Thanks, Dad. You're the best." I hugged him.
We walked into the dining room and sat down at the set table.
Spaguetti and meatballs. One of my favourites.
I sat next to Dad and Abi sat next to Mum.
"How was your day love?" My mother asked my father.
"It was good." He said smiling.
I was first to finish, as always. My dad next.
Abi and mum next.
"Here" my dad said handing me a large ish box.
I unwrapped it.
A new skateboard. No way. Green. Green Day had signed it. No bloody way.
"Oh my glob! Thanks daddy!" I squealed.
There was also a bandana. I held it up. It said Ash. Drum signs all over.
"I'll give this to Ash tomorrow. But right now..." I plonked my new skateboard down.
"Don't go riding it in here." My mum said.
"Too late!" I yelled, giving myself a boost.
"Why do you always get her stuff like that?" Mum asked dad.
"Just leave the girl be!" My dad smiled.
