Author's POV
Incheon International Airport
"Yes, I'm sorry I can't accept the work anymore... I'm no longer in Japan. Yes, I changed my agency and work under—I'm sorry what? Oh, I don't know when will I go back to Japan—"
The Japanese answered his phone before his eyes glanced at his watch—oh shoot."I'm late! I'm freaking late!"
Said the certain petite Japanese boy as he ran to the gate with his luggage while nervously looking around, but before he reached the airport exit, he was stopped by a man with a YG sign on his hands.
"Excuse me, are you Isao Masaru?" Asked the man to Masaru. "Yes, I am Isao Masaru. Don't worry, I can speak Korean..." Masaru smiled till his crescent Eye smile is shown. The man sighs in relief, probably because he's not fluent in Japanese. Wonder Masaru in his mind.
"Hi, nice to meet you Masaru-sshi... I'm Park Migeum. The current Treasure's manager and I were assigned to fetch you on the day of your arrival to Korea before sending you to the YG Ent. For contract sign session with the CEO..."
Explained Migeum to Masaru who looks at him while nodding with his doe eyes looking confused.
"Do you have any questions you want to ask before we get in the van?" Migeum asks while looking at the shorter Japanese boy.
"I'm sorry Migeum but am I late? I-I was supposed to be here by 10 am but there's a technical problem and I—" Migeum stops the boy as he starts to ramble nervously. Migeum chuckled softly.
"No, Masaru ... Don't worry, you're not late. You're supposed to be here by 10:30 am... by that mean, you're pretty early and even if you're late, it's not your fault because that's the technical problem..." said Migeum as he tries to calm Masaru before the Japanese sighed in relief.
"Why don't we go to the van first before we're late to the YG Ent as you know we don't want to go through traffic." Masaru nods and follows Migeum to the van.
After a while on the way to YG Ent...
Masaru looks outside the window as he loves watching the scenery while his fingers play with the pencil in his hands. He smiles as he saw a couple walking down the street looking so happy with each other.
Masaru hummed softly as he started to write something in his personal lyrics book.
Migeum smile as he looks at Masaru who still writes the lyrics in the book. "Why are you looking at me, Migeum-sshi?" asked Masaru while tilting his head.
"Just because. I'm amazed at how much you achieved while you're still young as BB-Sky, Masaru-sshi... and one of my boys loves your works and makes you as his inspiration you know..." Compliment Migeum to Masaru before Masaru blushes as he is still not used to taking compliments.
"I'm just working behind the scene... nothing much to compare with your boys, Migeum-sshi... They're performing out there in public with a lot of eyes watching them and that's what I called impressive." Masaru said with his eyes sparkling as he was inspired by his future teammate's work. "
"You will be one of them Masaru. Start believe in yourself..." Migeum said as he starts to read Masaru's personality.
Masaru looks at his lyrics book with a sad smile. "I hope I could believe in myself soon." He monologues before dozing off to sleep.
Masaru's POV
A few moments after I fall asleep, I was awakened by a light tap on My right shoulder. "Masaru-sshi, Masaru-sshi... wake up... we've arrived at the YG building..."
Migeum announced while I open my eyes slowly as I saw the main entrance of the building. "We have to use main entranced as the CEO asked. So, wear your mask and hat as we can't let your face seen by the fans out there..."
Migeum stated before I quickly wear my black bucket hat and black mask as I don't want to take any risk. When Migeum's hand was about to reach the door handle, I grip on his shirt.
"Migeum-sshi, before that... can you just call me Masaru? I-I'm not used to the honorifics from someone older than me..." I said with a few stutters.
"Ah, alright then... As we get off of the van, Masaru walks close to me, okay?" Migeum asks with a smile on his face. "Yes!" I said cheerfully even though he can't see my smile.
We get out of the van and I was stunned with wide eyes as I saw a lot of fans standing outside of the building. Fans waiting for their idol with signs on their hands but they look so happy.
"Aren't they hot under this scorching hot sun?" I asked myself before my hand was pulled gently by Migeum as we walk into the building.
Author's POV
"What do you think about the fans Masaru?"
Migeum asked as he seems to know what running in my mind. "Oh, I'm impressed by the dedicated fans who waiting there to meet their idols... Their dedication must be one of the idol strengths to keep going in this tough industry." I said with a smile as I speak my mind.
Migeum was stunned as he hear Masaru's answer to his questions. He don't expect Masaru will answer in that way as he usually expecting for a normal answer like his other age mate.
He smile and shake his head slowly. This boy is something. No wonder CEO-nim like him. Migeum thought before they walk into the elevator.
They walk to the office and Masaru was asked to wait in front of the CEO's office by himself because Migeum has an urgent matter he has to get done.
Masaru sat in the waiting area while looking around the interior of the space wondering if he could find any inspiration to write his lyrics. He hummed softly a hit j-pop song that he composed while tapping his feet.
He tried to calm down his heartbeat as he felt so nervous. "Keep calm Masaru... this is not your first time!" Masaru scolds himself while rubbing his hands to get off his nervousness.
He keeps on writing 人 on his right hand with his finger and acts as if he ate the word to gain courage. 'I have to keep calm and let BB-Sky take over to settle this quick...'
After Masaru was called inside the CEO's office, he sat in front of Yang Hyunsuk who was busy checking the contract for Masaru. "Ah, Isao Masaru... or should I call you BB-Sky... welcome to Korea. So, how's your first impression?" Welcomed the CEO with a smile.
Masaru as BB-sky changes his character and professionally presents himself. "Hello, CEO-nim... Korea seems a nice place, I like the scenery but I'm curious about something...
How do you know that I'm BB-sky?"
