In the beginning I was scared. I thought nobody would like to be friends with me.
I'm Shin Jina, born and raised in Australia, and I've just moved to South Korea at the age of 16, because of my dad's company.
My dad owns a stereophone company founded by my grandfather. Its name is "Shin-son" ("신-선")
Both my mother and father are Korean, that moved to Australia for a better life.
But, when my father told us that their company will expand in Seoul, we had to pack up and move to my father's hometown.
I bid farewell to my past life, and boarded to the plane.
By moving to Korea, I was both happy and anxious. I thought my heart would burst from beating.
Well, once we arrived there, I could feel the air blowing in my face.
It was a bit chilly though.
"What will it be like tomorrow at school?" I wondered once I entered my room.
