Blood Moon

Chapter 2

Cassi goes to the band room as it is her first period, and band try outs are happening. She calmly stands in her section. Flute. Kai soon walks in too, going to his section but he sees cassi, as he stops for a second. She looks over to him but soon gets distracted since her cousin was drum major, "Cassi, Very exiting day isn't it! I'm sure you'll make it!..Eh just keep away from the werewolves, They..bite." Moncei said as she glanced to kai.

Kai then walked to his section... luckily, he didn't hear anything. Soon the band started to warm up then did Seven Nation army. The band director went around, 15 didn't pass. Though Kai and Cassi passed. She started to practice her flute as others got to know each other, Kai gets up and puts his trombone on the stand, then walks over to Cassi. 

"Hi" He said and smiled his small fangs showed. Cassi stopped playing her flute and placed it on her lap, still holding it, and looked a little up at him. "I'm Kai" He continued. There was a small silence "I'm Cassi.." She said then looked to her cousin who was giving her a look. "Uhm, I was wondering do you, well.. want to hang out later today? Maybe.. for lunch? or after all of our classes?"   She looked back at him as he was messing with his necklace 'it wouldn't hurt. He seems nice, all of them do. Why should I keep away from them but not the others...?' she thought "Sure!" she said, as he smiled his fangs showing more, then she smiled too. Yet, she had fang like teeth..they didn't look normal.

Kai's POV:

I smiled and she gave a smile in return. 'Fangs?' I thought. They don't look human fangs. nor Like ours.. Something is odd. "I'll see you then." I said before I went to pack up my trombone. Soon the bell rang so I just, left it in my locker. I met up with Willa, Wyatt, Wynter. Addison and Zed were there. Addy's hair is white with blue fades at the bottom. "Hey little brother!" Wynter said and hugged me "Hey" I smiled. "How was class, kai?" Addison asked, "Good! I passed and made it into the band!" They cheered and congrated me, then I continued "I think..I made a new friend" I said as I played with my fingers a little. "What's their name? Is it a girl?" Wynter asked and then did a little gasp "Do you like her?!" I blushed a little and soon responded "..her name is Cassi and..we just met!" 'Yet..she is pretty and sweet..Her smile did make my heart bright..' I thought.

"Cassi..? Oh! She's my cousin from my dad's side!" Addison said. "You have another cousin?" Zed asked and started asking her questions. But we had to leave cause of the bell... 'I'll just wait till lunch and find her'.
