It had been days since the exams, and one person Gaara couldn't get off his mind was that one guy with the bushy eyebrows. "What was his name again? Lee! that's right."

Gaara knew this wasn't good. He began losing sleep, and instead spent his time tossing and turning in bed all night.

Gaara didn't know what to think. "I mean I beat him, but I can't help but feel defeated... yet I still managed to hurt him and his dream..."

Gaara's logic and emotion clashed on the battlefield of insight.

Why do i feel so guilty? Am i going soft? i mean he whooped my ass... Worst of all, why did I like it?

Is it because i've never known what it was like until now? To be the inferior one? for someone to be dominant with me? To be rough with me?

What is wrong with me? Why do I want more of you, Lee?

Just... Just another taste of what it's like... Of what it's like to be played with. To be toyed with.

And I could never forget... His touch; even the graze of his hand during the battle... it sent Gaara down the hopeless path of wanting more... of him.

Gaara began getting frustrated with himself. "Dammit! Sleep Gaara, sleep! forget about that loser and just sleep!"

The night was still and calm, it was a cold night. Moonlight cascaded Gaara's room from the window, forming shapes of faded light on the wall here and there.

It was a peaceful night, where the stars slept on their own; from a distance. The village was dead at night, and the only one who seemed to be awake was Gaara.

"Even the stars are asleep tonight..." Gaara murmured to himself. his head was pounding, his eyelids were heavy, his body ached.

I'm tired... So why can't I sleep?

After tossing and turning for what felt like an eternity, Gaara gave up and went outside, despite the cold air.

Now sitting on the roof, Gaara finally decided to go and see Lee soon, in order to quench his thirst for him and get this craving for Lee Kun out of his system.

Gaara laid on the roof that night, only hoping it would work.
