Emily and Mark look at each other in frustration and anger. They were getting no where in this case. Just as they thought all hope was lost, they received information that someone was willing to meet Emily and Mark to tell some things that might help them.
As Emily prepares to meet the anonymous informant, she can't shake the feeling of apprehension that gnaws at her insides. Despite the glimmer of hope that this new lead brings, she knows all too well the risks involved in meeting with a stranger in the dead of night.
Turning to Mark, Emily implores him to stay at her house and keep watch, knowing that she may be walking into a dangerous situation. Mark nods in agreement, his determination to protect Emily evident in his eyes as he promises to keep a close eye on her home.
As Emily sets out into the night, her senses are on high alert, every rustle of the wind and flicker of shadow sending a shiver down her spine. She knows that she must proceed with caution, trusting her instincts to guide her through the darkness.
Meanwhile, Mark settles into Emily's house, his mind racing with thoughts of the case and the possibility of uncovering new evidence. With Emily's permission to stay, he begins to discreetly search the premises, his keen eyes scanning every corner for any clue that may shed light on the mystery they're trying to unravel.
But as the hours pass and Emily's meeting stretches on into the night, Mark's sense of unease only grows. He can't shake the feeling that danger lurks just beyond the shadows, threatening to strike when they least expect it.
Mark keeps searching for any evidence of Emily being the suspect, he gets exhausted, oof Emily's house was indeed big.
Mark decides to take some rest and goes to one of the bedrooms and lies down over thinking AGAIN! Just as Mark gets out of bed to use the restroom, he stumbles upon something!
The floorboard was slightly lifted and this could be what Mark was looking for, what was Emily hiding in there. His minds goes through vivid colours thinking this could be a big leap on the case.
And it indeed was a giant lead, inside was...
