To reader:
Dear reader,
I always said I hated those little ribbons people wore in their hair. For example, if you asked anyone who knew me, they would be like, "Yeah, AT hates ribbons. Just doesn't find it practical." But today, after seeing it on her, I'm starting to reflect on that opinion.
You know, people usually say, "Don't say you have a crush on someone until you see them in a buzz cut" or one of those so-called 'disliked' haircuts.
I always wondered if I would truly lose feelings for someone just because of a hairstyle, and then today I saw her in one I thought I supposedly hated.
But wow, why did my heart flutter at the sight??? Like I don't normally like it, but on her, I- Wow!
How can someone manage to not only make me re-think my decision to hate it... but also make me consider maybe it should even be my favourite?
And goodness! She looked so self-conscious about it, but so so cute! I wish I could tell her so she wouldn't feel so uncomfortable with it.
Thankfully, as time went on, she seemed to have gotten more comfortable with it, and, wow, I never knew something could suit you even more when you're relaxed.
At some point, even my friend asked me who I was in love with cause I was just admiring her so much. I might or might not have subconsciously said "ribbons," which made my friend look at me like I grew two heads.
But dear reader, I think I like ribbons.
Yours sincerely,
AT
