𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝟏, 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑫𝒂𝒚

2017 August 29th, The First Day.

𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯:

As I lay there in my bed just laying there as my alarm goes off. The only thing I can think of is School, crazy right? I get up and turn off my alarm as it says its final beeps, I take a quick shower and get out, I brush my teeth and do my hair combing and ironing it. Then I put on some jeans and a black jacket and feed my dog quickly and leave. I get into my car and start driving to school. As I get to school I see all my friends, it feels great to be a Senior. Then I hear the bell, late on the first day of school. Again.

Ava's Pov:

I got up early today I mean the first day of being a sophomore I couldn't be late It's just too exciting! At 5:50 AM I take a 10 min shower and wait for my hair to dry, I listen to some music while brushing my teeth and hum to the song. A while later I brush my hair and do my regular face routine. I leave to the kitchen and make myself some cinnamon bagels and eat. Then I go back in my room and pick out a checkered skirt and a crop top since it was a warm day. then I pack up my bag and head out the door and into my car and drive off to school. When I get to school I walk up the stairs to my friends and stand by them. As we talk and giggle a little, the doors open.

I keep checking which classes I see and I get to my homeroom Mr. Geoffrey. I take my seat by my friends and talk to them till the bell goes off and class starts. After a few minutes Logan comes into the room late. "Hmpf, always the senior" My friend Bella whispers to me. Logan had a reputation for being late. "I guess so" I say. Everyone knew Logan he was a Player, friends with every bully in the school and couldn't even solve 2+2. Everyone stayed away from him I mean who wouldn't. Whenever I see a kid who feels bad about him everyone around there just laughs and reminds Logan what he's done and then that kid agrees. Bella really hated him since she used to date him until he dumped her for another girl. Her name was 'Chloe'. After everyone stopped snickering Mr. Geoffrey asked "And why are u late young man?" he says raising an eyebrow. As Logan tried to come up with an excuse Geoffrey just cuts him off "Tardy on the first day of school imagine that. Go take a seat. Geoffrey says. Then Chloe comes in "Oh gosh, Mrs Drama's in this class" Bella says annoyed. "And why are u late ma'am" our teacher asks. "OMY I-I TRIPPED ON THE STAIR AND OH GOD I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE BUT my-my Logan~ he-he saved me!" she says in the most dramatic way possible. "Yea yea just go have a seat" the teacher says. After that disaster our teacher starts going through our expectations at school.

Logan's Pov:

As I come running into my home room I look at everyone and I mean out of the 28 students there they were all looking at me and then the teacher Mr Geoffrey or whatever isn't that the Giraffe? He started asking me why I was late I mean I could a came up with the best excuse but I was too focused on Ava. I know people think I'm a player but everyone I get with isn't right for me but I knew Ava was, hopefully. Then when I come up with something to say to the teacher he just tells me to take a seat, behind Ava! As I sit down I see my Ex(Chloe) come in and well she has an actual excuse. I hear Bella say something to Ava about Chloe being a drama queen or whatever. Then I hear her saying I helped her from tripping on the stairs?? Like I wouldn't do anything for her but here she is saying I helped her. As she takes her seat she just stares at me with loving eyes as I try to ignore her but can't. Our teacher just talks about how we shouldn't be fighting and what we should do on the playground and I'm pretty sure the only person listening was Ava, god she was so smart, still weird though. I mean I wish I was smart but you know here I am trying to figure out how to solve a rubix cube. I mean I feel like I'm not the only person who can't solve it, but I feel like I am. After about half-an hour of listening to mister Giraffe the bell rings and everyone gets up and leaves.

As our class starts (Math) our teacher Mrs, Hawk starts reviewing what we learned last year, I honestly didn't care so I just put my head down but I guess I couldn't do that and Mrs Hawk or whatever asked me to solve (20 divided by 16) times 8 + 29 Equals 65.4 is true or false and if false what the answer was so my ass decided to ask. "Wait who?" I asked. "You" she says confused. "WHO CARES" And now I'm in detention,so I'm kinda dumb but at least I got a couple of laughs out of the kids but that's it so now I'm just sitting here talking to the principal and now I have to lie so here goes nothing 🤞. "So why did u decide to do your little little joke on our teacher young man" The principal asks. "Well I-I felt targeted by he-her presents and well she hurt my feelings. I say in an innocent voice. "Well I'm sorry you felt targeted so I will let u go back to class just don't do it again". She says and walks out. I kinda wanted to stay here instead of going to class but you know DUTY CALLS. Teachers huh so gullible.

Ava's Pov:

As the bell rings I get up and go to my math class Mrs. Hawk. As I get into the class I take my seat by my bestie Emma. Our teacher starts talking about what we learned last year and well I guess Logan behind me decided to fall asleep and now he has to solve a problem but of course he talks back. And now he's in the office. Our teacher gives us an easy assignment to do with a partner but she picks the partners. So that's how I ended up with Logan the one kid who couldn't solve 27 to the power of 2 even with a calculator. After that class it was kinda just an expectation day and I finally got home. So now I'm just doing the entire math project by myself because Logan had "football tryouts". I get ready for bed and set my alarm to 6:30 AM like always and I brush my teeth quickly and head to bed. He probably was just playing Call of Duty.
