Billie's POV
What the actual fuck just happened?! One moment i was having a small talk with a girl i just met and the next thing i know she left running out the dinner doors, i was just standing there with my mouth wide open staring at the door.
"Earth to Billie.. You ok?" Finneas asked, god know how long he's been trying to get my attention.
"What the fuck happened? i thought i was starting to be friends with her, but now she left and i don't even have her number" i said slowly sitting down in my seat.
"You'll find her one day, don't worry. Are you going to finish your food or do you want to go home, because im done with mine" finneas said, i didnt even touch my food, i thought i had all the time i could to sit here with Avery and slowly eat "Yeah i want to go home. Excuse me?" i asked a worker there "can i get this packed?" the sweet worker says yes and grabs my food. 5 minutes late she comes back with the box and hands it to me. Finneas and i quickly pay and thank them and make our way home.
When we get home i walk to the kitchen and put the food into the fridge then walk to my bright red room, i get ready for bed and try and go to sleep. After hours of turning and turning i get out a bed, god the whole day is stuck in my head, i check the time which read 2:46AM and walk over to Finneas room. Finneas is fast asleep in his bed with his girlfriend next to him, when the hell did she get here. I walk over to the piano and start to play around with it and i get this one rhythm stuck in my head so i play it over and over again. "That beautifal billie" finneas says and then yawns
"Sorry, did i wake you up?" i whisper
"Its ok.. what you doing here it like 3am"
"Couldn't sleep, but i got an idea for a song"
"Is this about the party?"
"Yeah, it just felt so strange. i can't get it out my head, and Avery how she just left with no way of me finding her again"
"You'll find her, here" finneas says handing my notebook with every single of my thoughts written "Write whats on your mind" and thats what i did, and ended writing a whole song about the party, i think im going to call this song Xanny like the drug.

Its 6am now. I still haven't gone to bed, i have nearly complete a whole song but it definately needs Finneas skills to improve it oh and actually recording it. I finally walk over to my room and grab my phone maybe Zoe's awake now, i doubt that actually, she was so drunk she'll be asleep till noon. i go into my bed and fall asleep, finally.
When i wake up around 12 in the afternoon rush over to finneas room to see that he's sitting down on his desk playing around with his musical equipments.
"Hey finneas, I wrote the whole song by the way, here listen to it" i say handing finneas my phone, he plays the voice memo and looks at me proudly
"This is so good billie"
"Thanks, i want to make it soon, its definatly going to be in the album" he nods and i walk away to the kitchen to see my mom cooking.
"Hey mama"
"Hi Billie, how was your night?"
"Awfully strange, but i met a girl that i could be friends with" I say going to the fridge to grab the food from the diner, only to see that the takeout box wasn't even there "Mom have you seen a takeout box in the fridge?"
"Yes honey Finneas was eating from it" Oh my god, i swear im about start a fight how dare he eat my food i wanted that
"FINNEAS! WHY WOULD YOU EAT MY FOOD, YOU KNOW IT WAS MINE" i shouted as i stomped towards him "Billie calm down its just food, you can go get some more" Finneas said calmly but deep down i knew he was scared "UGH" i shout and walk to my room, i get changed and walk out, as i am walking out the front door i yell to my mum telling her that im going to the diner and make my way there.

When i arrive at the diner i sit down infront of the small bar where theres quite a few people waiting to get served, i look down at the menu and decide i want a all breakfast burrito while i wait for someone to serve me i quickly go on my phone and message Zoe

I am, how did i even get home?
I dropped you off, oh btw do u have avery's number?

Yk the girl u were hanging out with

Oh u mean rose, no i dont have her number i only see her at parties
Great.
Now theres no way of me finding her, after that party i doubt i would want to go to another one again.
"Hiya! How may i hel- Oh hi billie" i look up to see that it was avery, i guess i did end up seeing her again.
"Avery, didn't think i'll see you again. You work here?" i ask
"Yeah, uhm what can i get for you?"
"Oh uhm..." i look at the menu again "Can i get.. an all breakfast burrito and your number" Avery laughs, god her laughs so cute.
"You can get a burrito, but not my number" she sighs
"Damn why can't i get your number"
"Because im not allowed to use it when im working and i dont know my number of by heart" she says, she really had to complicate things.
"Thats ok maybe another time" i say and she leaves to get me my burrito
