Terroristic crime boss Raul Menendez is plotting to cause a second cold war between America and China, as a plan of revenge for his sisters death and his fathers assassination. He's crippled the US army, hacked our drone fleet, and is planning to destroy the capital governments. He also has several soldiers trapped and plans to torture them for information so he can initiate what he calls, Project: blackout . It's up to you, Mario. For not just the US... but for the entire world.
Mario: (Ends transmission) I have to do this. For the entire world.
Meggy: ... Okay. Please be safe.
Mario: ... I will. (Kisses her)
Meggy: (Kisses back)
Mario; I gotta go... (Leaves)

Mario: (Heads to a jet that takes him to the first base of the Cordis Die corporation along with several other agents) Alright. The moment we land, we take suprise attack them with some explosives, then as they get separated, we go in for the kill.
After landing, they then got passed all the Cordis Die soldiers, and Mario then got to the area with a kidnapped soldier, only to find him dead.
Mario: Damn... (Checks the area and finds security cameras) Hm... I.V.A.N, can you hack those cameras?
I.V.A.N: I'm on it, sir.
I.V.A.N then hacks the camera and shows Mario footage of the soldier being tortured by the second in command, DeFalco.
Mario: Omg...
DeFalco: ... Alright, ya worm. Tell me everything you know, then you can die.
Soldier: You sick son of a bitch! I'll say nothing!
DeFalco: ... (Beats him with a crowbar)
Soldier: Ugh... I... still ain't saying anything.
DeFalco: ... (Brutally beats him more)
Soldier: GAH...
DeFalco: (Continues beating him until he's a bloody stain)
Soldier: ... (Dies)
DeFalco: ... Hmmph. (Contacts Menendez) He's dead, boss. He didn't say anything.
Menendez: ... Don't worry about him. Just get back to base before the strike team arrives.
DeFalco: Of course. (Leaves for his chopper)
Mario: ... End footage.
I.V.A.N: (Does so)
Mario: ... (Heads out) Let's move out!
They then head to the next base and get through the army easily. Mario then barges in the base and kills more soldiers, then goes up and finds more dead soldiers.
Mario: ... I have to stop this before it's too late.
Then, someone appears behind him, but Mario then attacks the man.
