"How's everything going?" Captain asks me
"Good" I say simply
"How's your relationship with him?" He asks
"Good" I simply say again
"Alright I'll call you next month, or if there's any changes in the plan" he tells me
"Okay" I nod ready to get off the phone with him
"Okay bye" he says and hangs up
I put the burner phone back in the hiding spot before going to the kitchen where Sarah was cooking breakfast.
"How was it?" She asks quickly looking back at me
"Same old conversation, I think he getting annoyed how slow the process is going" I roll my eyes and sit on the stool
"Like I get you wanna get this done but damn it's only been about two months chill" I add as she continued to cook
"His ass is getting annoying and that's making me worry what will happen when all this is set and done" she says flipping a pancake
"As long as my family stays safe that's all that matters to me" I tell her
"Do you think he'll set you up?" She turn facing me as she asked me that seriously
"No he and my dad are very close but that doesn't equal trustworthy, but I have no choice right now then to do as he says" I say shrugging
"If he fucks with you don't worry I'll kill him myself" she says making both of our plates
"Girl you ain't killing nobody" I laugh shaking my head
"For you, I would" she says putting a plate in front of me
"Me too" I laugh
"Thank you" I add picking up my plate going to the dining table with Sarah behind me
"It's you I'm worried about" I tell her
"Me?" She asks confused
"You got you a whole ass man, if there's a time to choose who's side are you picking?" I ask her smiling
