"Wonderful my prince." The silence was broken by the manly voice of the King. "This diamond necklace suits you."

Agis was sitting in front of a window looking at the bustling town below him. At his back was the King.

The King was putting jewelry on Agis as Agis looked outside, deeply sunk in thoughts.

Agis was top-naked. Only covered by the black satin blankets around his waist as his clothes are still being washed. The King on the other hand was dressed.

"These sapphires look marvelous around your skin." The King said as he nuzzled himself on Agis' neck. "They'll look exceptional as decorations for your collar."

Agis ignored everything the King has said and internalized his situation deeply. They were at one of the highest floors of the castle. It was near impossible for them to be detected at the town.

His mind couldn't stray away from thinking about his family. He wonders where they are and if they're safe. His people and his responsibilities. As far as he knows, he is still the King of Lisnon.

Once he's free, he'll take revenge for his people and for his kingdom but for now, escaping this place was his first priority.

"You must be starving now. Let us eat here." Granger whispered.

Food. Yes food. He really needs food to replenish his energy. Agis just said nothing and let his stomach rumble as the reply.

The King left Agis' side and called for the servant. He instructed the servant to ask the palace chefs to cook food for him and his court.

The servant immediately bowed and went to the kitchen. The King closed the door and locked it. He went to the boy's side and rest his head on the other's neck.

His taunting look and his teasing eyes remained plastered on his face as he tried talking to the boy.

"I know what's on your mind. It's not easy to escape this palace. Besides the guards, this place is pretty huge and I know this place more than you." Granger said. "Just be eternally mine and you won't ever have to worry anything. I can provide everything for you."

"Can you let my family go?" Agis hoarsefully said. The King smiled a little bit because he heard his voice but it wasn't enough for him to be happy. Just mentioning it made his mood drop down.

"No." Granger's voice went down. The frequency left Agis' spine trembling.

Agis was confused. Agis wanted to know why they were the target for an attack. As far as he knew, their kingdoms never had any conflicts.

"What did we do to you?" Agis whispered, barely audible but still was heard by the King.

"You really do not know do you?" Granger said. His hand gripped Agis' chest and kept the boy closer and tighter to him.

Agis tried prying the arm keeping him close to the King. He tried but the big scary block wouldn't budge.

"You're family did... questionable things in the dark. They were responsible for your kingdom's development and others downfall. Mine included." Granger darkly said. "They still have to pay for what they did to me."

Agis was angry because he did not believe his parents would do something and wouldn't tell him. He felt the King is lying and screamed at him.

"You're lying. They didn't do anything. They were the best parent I had." Agis screamed. He wanted to stand up and get away but the hand on his chest prevented him to do so.

"Believe me Agis. Before I became King, they killed my father and destroyed our village. I survived and kept the legacy of our village. We built Rivierlen as a place to settle." Agis just looked down.

"They tried to do it again but they failed. They tried to take the "Book of Prophecy" and whatever else they tried to take." Granger said before taking a breath.

Agis tried prying Granger hands off and he successfully did because Granger intentionally loosened his grip on him.

Agis stood up and tried to get as far away from Granger as possible.

"Let me go. Let US go. I'm sorry that happened but you didn't have to destroy our kingdom. You didn't have to kill my people and take our place." Agis screamed. "You're just as horrible as what they did back then."

Granger's fist tightened and his look went dark. His anger started seeping into his form however, he kept his strength from hurting Agis.

Granger went closer to Agis as he started talking.

"I can't let YOU leave because you're part of my prophecy and I can't let your parents leave because they have to pay." Granger said. "You weren't meant to be caught between me and your parents but you were meant to be mine. You're mine, Agis."

Agis was mad. Agis couldn't believe how he was owned because of a book. He didn't like it.

"I'm not yours. I never will be. A book will not decide to whom I'll be owned. " Agis replied back. "Let me go because I don't want to be affiliated with you."

Granger puts his hands around Agis, preventing the boy from going anywhere.

"You have no choice. The prophecy says you will be mine to own, and if not, you will be none to own, not even yourself." Granger screamed.

"I will kill you before you become somebody else's." This time, Granger calmly and coldly threatened the boy.

Agis was shooked to the soul. His face went pale as he saw the red eyes flickered, like evil powering the King.

Granger put his hand on Agis' shoulders and guided him onto the table.

"I'll be forced to control your mind if I can't have you. Please don't fight it and submit to me." Granger said trying to thaw the freezing atmosphere that he made.

He knew what he said was true. He will probably kill Agis if he became somebody else's but he'll make sure that wouldn't happen.

A knock interrupted the both of them. Granger went to the door and unlocked the door. The food was ready to serve.
