Chapter 59

Here's an update! I think the story is slowly coming to an end in probably the next few chapters.  

But I'm probably going to re-read it just to make sure my story is making sense, so yeah haha hope you enjoy it have a nice day! 💐

JK Pov

JK: last year she told me she liked me, but I told her I already liked someone, so she was asking whether or not you are that someone.

Tae's ears went a bit red, while turning his head slightly.

JK: Let's eat~ I'm hungry.

Tae: yeah.

As we were done with our meal we headed back home.

I went into my room, and was about to relax and play some video games, Sara then texted me.

Sara: Jungkook

JK: yeah?

Sara: I thought about what you said about having a chat with the girls today, can I ask you a favore to be somewhere near there... if there is any accident that happens I can reach out to you. You don't have to do it if you don't want to do it of course, it's just I feel safer when there is a third person there.

JK: sure.

I responded to her text wondering if I should tell Taehyung about it.

After thinking for a while, I told Tae about it. Tae offered to come along with me, but I told him not to worry.

It is currently 9:00 in the morning, I got up, got dressed, and went to the cafe Sara told me.

As I went in, there was Sara sitting at one of the coffee tables, she waved a bit at me, I then found a seat near her to listen.

Soon the other two girls arrived, they went and sat with Sara, they had a long talk about what happened in the past.

Sara's perspective

Person 1: so...

Sara: about the testing thing, I really didn't do it. Back then when we were taking the test there were rumors that someone had cheated, it was Jane who cheated, because she looked at you guys answer, but then you guys didn't know it, I also don't know it. She then told the teacher that you two forces her to give you the answer that's why the answers are all the same, and as we know her family is part of the school fonder, it's easy for her to get away with things, but since she told the principle you guys force her the teachers than automatically agreed with her, so you guys didn't get the chance to explain yourself. After that you guys got into trouble, and I was being framed as the person who tattletale. So when you guys are mad at me she starts approaching. The reason why I always stick around her is because my father owes her father debt, and after this incident people always thought of me as a traitor. While Jane on the other hand acted all nice creating this image of she's this heartwarming, wonderful person, who offers shelter to a person like me.

Person 2: I guess we should have trusted you more...

Person 1: I guess we owe you an apology for believing others more than you.

Person 1/ 2: we're sorry for not letting you talk, and sorry for ignoring you and saying mean things to you.

Sara: It's fine, anyways I finished my explanation.

I then stood up, I thought I'm brave enough to face this without crying, but as I stood up I could feel the emotion slowly drowning me, every step I took was heavier than the one before.

As I was walking past one of them grabbed my wrist gently.

Person 1: Can we make it up to you?

Sara: don't worry, I'm fine.

I put on a smile as I said this while walking out of the cafe to catch some fresh air. The sky is beautiful today, but my heart isn't. I thought I had let it go, but whenever thinking about the way they had talked about me, and how everyone heard my reputation and judged me. It hurts. The worst part is I have to act like everything is fine, wearing a fake smile every single day. I understand they would've been mad if I did that, but it wasn't even me! As I continued walking I heard someone calling my name, as I turned around I saw Jungkook... why is everything so blurry?

JK Pov

After hearing the story, I felt horrible for Sara. Not only did her 'friends' not believe her, Jane also used this broken relationship for her own benefits.

As they finished discussing it I saw Sara walking out wobbly, I followed her, I called her a few times, but I don't think she heard me. As soon as she turned over I saw her falling backward... Just as I thought I couldn't make it there fast enough before she fell, Taehyung caught her. I then stood next to Tae, also holding on to Sara.

JK: Sara? Sara!

JK: We should take her to the hospital, she looks pale.

As we arrived at the hospital, she was taken care of by the doctors, and nurses.

We sat at the bench waiting to know what happened to her.

Tae then looked at me asking what had happened.

I explained to him what I had heard, and how she had fainted.

Tae: gosh... isn't this bullying? Why doesn't she say anything?

I looked at Tae and rolled my eyes explaining: well from the school's way of dealing with Jane's situation on cheating, the school probably won't be helpful. On the other hand, even her closest friend doesn't believe her. You know, when no one believes or trusts you, whatever you say won't matter. Her family won't be that helpful considering her father is in the same situation.

Tae: I guessed you were right. What about the police?

JK: not enough evidence, and they are underage...

Tae: sigh, we should help her out, I mean it's her last year in high school.

JK: yeah...
