Now, let's introduce the: 'who', 'what', 'where', 'when', 'why', and 'how', of Warrior Cats!

A Brief Who: Warrior Cats is a series created by Erin Hunter, a small team of authors published by HarperCollins in 2003. The first story 'Into the Wild' was written by Kate Cary and edited by Victoria Holmes. Additional members of the small author team include Cherith Baldry and Tui T. Sutherland as the primary authors with Clarissa Hutton and Dan Jolley. Other members were added to the team as Erin Hunter branched outside of the Warrior Cats universe (which includes bears, dogs, lions, baboons, and elephants)
A Brief What: Warrior Cats is a fantasy series that tells the daily lives and stories of cats living in the wild. These cats are extremely intelligent and know how to survive in the wild in organized colonies (clans). The first book in the series is 'Into the Wild' which tells the story of Rusty, a kittypet who escapes mundane life for warrior life and finds himself in a bit of danger and adventure.
A Brief Where: A rather large forest. Later on, around a lake.
A Brief When: Over a span of 77 books!
A Brief Why: The authors of Erin Hunter have expressed their fascination with cats and their desire to create a world where felines live in clans and interact with each other like humans., which led to the creation of Warrior Cats!
A Brief How: The author-team works together diligently to create each book in the Warrior Cats series with Victoria Holmes the mastermind behind plots and outlines.
