A month had now gone by and it was late Oct. It was my favorite holiday. Halloween. The whole aspect of scaring people and free candy filled my body with excitement. I opened the door and the fall air hit my face in a blast. It was Saturday and I was going to meet with a friend at the mall. Mary was busy with Phil so I decided to go hang out with my friend Natalie. I sent her a text as I started my car.

I arrived 30mins later at the mall and parked close to the entrance. I walked in and looked at my phone.

"Meet me in the food court." - N

I didn't even reply and headed straight to the food court. I found her and smiled as I sat down.

"Hey there!" I said with another full smile.

"Hey, how has your week been?" she questioned taking a bite of her subway sandwich.

"Pretty good. Just a crap loud of homework. And you?" I replied sitting back into the chair.

"Same, when are those AP  Notes due?" she questioned finishing her sub.

"I think next Friday. When we test." I replied

She simply smiled and we got up. We proceeded to go into Claire's, Hot Topic and such. After a few hours of shopping and conversing we finished. We hugged and went our separate ways. I always had a great time with Natalie. I hadn't looked at my phone and decided it was a good idea to check. Mary was probably freaking out since I wasn't home. There was only one text. It was from Jerry.

"Hey. I have a surprise for you. Wanna meet up? Its going to have too be far away. So no one notices us." - J

I smiled brightly and replied.

"Sure. When and where?" - I

I hit send and got into my car. I turned on Stevie Nicks and checked my phone again before driving.

"In Weirton. I will send you the address. The place is called 'Marcie's Cafe' See you soon. :)" - J

A minute later I got another text with the address. I put it into my GPS and followed where TOM TOM told me to go. Sure, it was a lengthy drive, but to see Jerry, it was worth it.I wondered out loud as to what my surprise might be. I absolutely hated surprises. I drove carefully and tapped my thumbs on my steering wheel. Singing along loudly with my CD. As I pulled into the cafe parking lot I saw Jerry standing out front smiling at me.

Of course it was because of my embarrassing acts from the drivers side of the car. I got out and locked my car. I was greeted by Jerry. He pulled me into a deep hug kissing the top of my head. Is cold lips sent shivers threw my body.
