"WHAT the fuck?!" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Apollo at mapanghusga siyang tiningnan. "So, you are saying that you are attracted to this woman—No, this married woman rather, who is the wife of your personal driver?"

"Y-Yes," nahihiyang sagot ni Cormac sa kaibigan sabay nag-iwas ng tingin. "Apparently, she appeared in my dreams before we met when I visited my personal driver at St. Lukes."

"And now because of her, you are fucking whining like a spoiled child to us that you keep wanting her presence even if you are most definitely aware that it was forbidden. Well, aren't you so fucking stupid to even desire a married woman?" singhal ni Apollo para magtagis ang kanyang mga panga.

Walang naitugon na kataga si Cormac upang ipagtanggol ang sarili dahil alam niyang tama ang mga binitawan nitong mga salita.

Among them, he was always the one who dodged conflict and troubles by working his ass off and declining most of their invites to relax at the Pleasure House. At the very least, he knows how to hold himself very well unlike his friends. And yet here he was now, embracing his newfound temptation by hiring Diana as his greenhouse keeper. Fuck!

No decent man would have done the same knowing he was already in difficulty right from the start. As if he wanted to torture himself even more by reacting according to his desire. Desire to satisfy himself by keeping Diana close to him, which was definitely wrong in so many ways.

And he didn't know what to exactly feel now that he had done what he wasn't supposed to; worried that his lust might get out of hand one day or glad that he could spend time with Diana like he wished.

"Tang-ina mo talaga, Castelleno! Para kang gago, magkakagusto ka na lang sa babae doon pa na kasal," dugtong ni Apollo para diretsong tunggain ni Cormac ang alak mula sa nguso ng bote.

"Oh, stop over reacting, Alcazar. I'm sure Castellano is not that stupid to actually hire her as his personal driver," pagtanggol ni Nicolas sa kanya para tumungga ulit siya sa bote at dire-diretsong uminom na para bang tubig lamang ang alak. Tumigil lamang siya nang maubos nang mangalahati na ang laman ng bote.

Unlike Apollo who always expressed his wary of whatever their situation they are in, Nicolas, on the other hand, seemed to be a little laid back and too trusting that they would never make bad decisions, especially him.

"Please tell me I'm not mistaken," dugtong ni Nicolas nang nanatili siyang tahimik sa kinauupuan.

Cormac threw his hand in the air defensively. "I didn't hire her like I promised I wouldn't..."

"See?" pagmamayabang ni Nicolas para mapakurap-kurap si Apollo sa kanyang harap marahil sa pagkapanatag, maliban sa isa niya pang kaibigan na si Dalton na nakaupo sa gilid nito. "No need to drive him on edge. I always believe Castellano is not that stupid."

"But..." pag-uudyok ni Dalton para malito si Nicolas at Apollo sa kinauupuan.

As a silent yet a thought-reader like Dalton, he knew lying would be useless to him. Bago pa man bumuka ang bibig niya para magsinungaling sa mga kaibigan ay alam na agad nito ang tumatakbo sa kanyang isip.

"I didn't hire Diana as my personal driver..." sagot ni Cormac para tuluyang makahinga nang maluwag sina Nicolas at Apollo. "Because I hired her as my greenhouse keeper instead."

"The fuck?!" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Apollo. Sa lakas ng boses nito ay bahagya siyang napalayo at napatakip ng tainga.

"You damn bastard!" asik ni Nicolas, nanlilisik ang mga mata. Sa sobrang gigil nito ay sunod-sunod pa siya nitong minura nang malutong at nang hindi pa ito nakuntento ay sumugod ito sa kanya. "You're not just plain stupid, because you are a selfish fool!"
