...
In a night cafe in the middle of Bandung, there was a group of teenagers who were spending their free time just hanging out. They were teenagers in their final year of high school.
"Jeff, where do you want to go after graduation?"
"I want to continue to study in Jogja, so that I can migrate"
Jeffian's friends, Alva nodded after hearing Jeffian's answer, and continued eating.
They spent that Sunday night happily, not just gathering for fun but they also discussed their future such as where they will go after graduation and so on.
"So, Alva, what about you?" Jeffian asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
Alva paused for a moment, contemplating his response. "I'm thinking of taking a gap year, maybe travel around a bit before diving into university."
"Sounds adventurous," Jeffian remarked with a grin. "Where do you want to go first?"
Alva leaned back, swirling the straw in his drink. "I've always wanted to explore Bali, you know, surf a bit, soak in the culture."
"I'm in!" Jeffian's another friend Kano, eager to join the adventure.
"That sounds amazing," Kano said enthusiastically, leaning forward. "Count me in too. Bali's been on my bucket list for ages!"
Jeffian grinned, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "Looks like we've got ourselves a plan then. Bali it is for our post-graduation adventure!"
Their conversation drifted into excited chatter about potential destinations and the experiences they hoped to have. As the night wore on, their dreams and aspirations mingled with the scent of coffee and the warmth of friendship, creating memories they would carry long after their high school days were over.
"By the way it's about one o'clock at night, let's go home, we can continue later in another place" Alva spoke inviting his two friends Jeffian and Kano to leave this cafe.
Kano nodded, confirming Alva's words, "Yes, we should go home instead of being kicked out by the cafe staff."
Jeffian chuckled, glancing at his watch. "Yeah, it's getting late. We should probably head home before morning comes."
Alva laughed, standing up from his seat. "Alright then, see you on class tomorrow. Be careful guys."
They are immediately left the cafe and rushed to ride their respective motorcycles home.
...
In the middle of the road Jeffian saw a girl standing next to her motorcycle nervously, Jeffian who saw her felt worried because at this late hour there was a girl alone in a quiet and dark place. Jeffian immediately approached the girl to see what was going on.
"Hey, are you okay?" Jeffian asked, pulling up beside the girl.
The girl looked relieved to see someone approach. "I think my motorcycle broke down. I'm not sure what to do."
"Let me take a look," Jeffian offered, getting off his motorcycle and crouching down beside hers. He examined the engine for a moment before spotting the issue. "Looks like your spark plug's loose. Do you have a wrench?"
The girl nodded, rummaging through her bag and handing Jeffian the tool. With practiced ease, Jeffian tightened the spark plug and started the engine.
"There you go, should be good to go now," Jeffian said with a smile.
