The Normal Day

Princess Aria woke up in her white four poster bed with sheer white curtains floating around her.She twirled her brown hair uncomfortably as she had no will to live.Her fate was clearly written but she didn't want to accept reality for it was bitter.There was a knock on her door, with the voices of her maidens of service."Good morning your highness" they remarked as they entered her room,opening the curtains and helped her out of bed.Laying new sheets."Pleasant Dreams" Lucy, the head maiden asked,patting the bed after she lay a new blanket on the bed.Aria, for the first time that day, smiled."Beautiful" she replied, recalling her dream about having a food fight in the ballroom."Well it's good to see you smile, your greatness"Seremina, the brave one said as she opened the tap so that Aria could have a warm shower before she started her royal duties.Aria told her maidens to leave and stripped out of her light blue night gown,that was made out of fine silk.The water was warm and the foam seemed to clear her mind of all the hardships she had to face.Once she was done she dried herself with a  towel and wore a white lace dress that flowed between her knees and ankles.She paired it up with a pair of white heels that laces up till her knees and were hidden by her dress.She dried her hair and then called for Lucy, to curl her hair.Aria looked in the mirror to see a dull face looking back.She was very beautiful,but she did not feel beautiful.She felt the burden of the country that her mother had placed on her fragile shoulders since the age of 16.After all was done she took a step back and put her priceless diamond tiara on her head, one of which her mother had presented her with.She looked at the clock in her bedroom, half past 8,the usual routine.She headed down the grand staircase heading towards the dinning hall, to see her mother for breakfast, where they would have their chat about politics and economy.Aria wanted to be a normal teenager.Live without a care, be free of trouble.Have fun, one quality that had been kicked out of her life at a very young stage of her life.
