Then footsteps.
"Goodnight Maple!" Her mother called out walking past her bedroom "lights out pleaseee" she toned sweetly. "Goodnight mommm" replied Maple secretly inpatient.
Her relationship with her mom was good. Wanting to leave had nothing to do with this, she just needed change. As the hours passed Maple lay asleep. Her lilac colored blankets trailed around her like a cocoon.
"BEEP BEEP BEEP" 2:30 am.
Her alarm went off in her headphones. This was it.
Maple slowly got up yawning and rolling over to turn of the alarm that hadn't been making noise. After a few attempts of hitting it she realized which one she had set. "Click" she shut it off and put on her favorite Ed Sheeran song,Give Me Love. Throwing on a pair of black jogging pants with built in elastic bands around the waist and ankles she put up her dark golden blonde hair into a bun and admired the blonde highlights showing. With one last look at her baby blue eyes and one last look at the freckles and bags which rest beneath them she slung her backpack on,smiled, and said goodbye to her room. In the cool spring air the night wasn't so bad,she could roam freely in a shirt sleeve t-shirt and not collect tiny goosebumps on her arms at least.
