The sunlight creeped its way into Jessica's room, its rays touching her face in a way that just felt obnoxious. Jessica groaned, flipping herself over, and hiding under her sheets. The events of last night felt like a blur, only remembering bits and pieces of what she guessed was a wild party. Jessica stayed face planted in her pillow, attempting to ignore the thumping headache and trying to fall back asleep.
"JESSICA!!"
Jessica flinched, ducking herself under the covers. To her misfortune her brother was wide awake and not suffering from a hangover.
"Go away!!" Jessica yelled into her pillow, but it was still loud enough for her brother to hear.
It went silent for a moment, the pestering of her name and the knocking continuing to get on her nerves. Jessica flipped over, groaning and rubbing her temples.
"Jesse-"
"Olivia sent me~! Now get up-"
"Can't I just sleep in? I'm exhausted from yesterday!"
"Yeah, but didn't you agree to today's group date?" Jesse asked.
This got Jessica to pause. She ran through her clouded memory, back to a conversation with Olivia. She didn't remember where or what, but knew it'd be a high energy one.
"Ughh- I didn't think that'd be now!" Jessica groaned into her pillow, her head pounding. She could hear her twin brother giggling from behind the door. Him making a snide remark, "I swear even the cameramen are faster than you!" It made Jessica's face scrunch.
If she could punch him through the door, she would. Jessica finally let out a reluctant sigh, "Just give me a minute".
Her brother replied with an enthusiastic "okay," leaving Jessica to get ready. Once she knew she was alone she sat up in her bed, stretching in an attempt to wake herself up further. Her head was still reeling as she looked around the room to think of what to wear. The red dress from last night was sloppily thrown onto a chair; the rest of her accessories following suit being left in random spots around the room. Whatever they were doing today, fancy clothes and party make-up wasn't cutting it. She needed something comfortable, not so form fitting her head would pop off.
Reluctantly, Jessica got up from her bed to rummage through her closet. She was almost worried she wouldn't have anything comfortable to wear; thankfully she did! All in the form of a simple red and white shirt, a pair of shorts and comfortable sneakers. She smiled to herself, putting on her makeup before walking herself to the door.
"Finally- Sis, you take forever to get ready you know!" Jesse exclaimed, leaning himself on the back wall.
"Jesse, were you sitting there the entire time?"
"Well someone had to wait on you!" Jesse jumped up from his spot, patting off the non-existent dust off his clothes. Jessica rolled her eyes, walking with her brother to the main hall where she assumed the rest of her cast members were.
"So where are we going anyway and why're you dressed like that?"
"Six Flags!"
"We're going to Six Flags and you're dressed like a farmer-"
"Don't judge me and my fashion sense- I look fabulous in suspenders thank you!"
Jessica usually would've made another remark back at her brother, but the pounding in her head was getting on her nerves. The rest of the walk was quick. Jesse and Jessica arrive in the mansion's main hall, everyone eating some breakfast while Olivia looks over her clipboard. Jesse ran off to talk to the rest of the group. This gave his sister a bit of time for herself. Jessica decided to pull up a chair, laying her head down on one of the tables. All she wanted was a bit of peace and quiet but even the light noise of chatter felt like it was stabbing right at her eardrums. Just before she could doze off, she flinched feeling light tapping on her shoulder.
