The prophecy of sun and moon

°• Chapter 1: Reed of the river •°

There was silence in the wind as the sun slowly peaked over a plains biome, sun rays bouncing off of the blades of grass that go for miles at least it seems like they go for miles. Trees were rooted far away in the distance near a forested area there sat a decently sized village, the houses made from wood and stone making their structures unable to be broken into by the monsters that roam around when the sun is gone.

This village was a nice little town, the villagers were friendly and quite colorful in personalities as well, they always seemed to be at peace and happy with no care in the world for the dangers this land holds. They just went about their day taking care of crops,family and other duties around this beautiful little village. But this village had something unique about it, it had beings that weren't your typical villager in it..two well known people and one young one who is still learning about this world.

"Eco! Remember to help villagers if they ask you! Also please be careful!" A soft yet tough female voice shouted, the voice came from a tallish ginger haired woman with emerald green eyes, wearing a worn light green shirt and a utility belt around her waist with two holsters on each side holding her long iron dragger's. She sighed roughly hearing a soft male's voice next to her.

"You know Alex she is eventually going to get herself in danger, you need to start letting her learn and stop making her stay all cooped up in the village" a tall male with short brown hair, wearing casual clothes just dark blue jeans and a teal shirt he also had a shoulder strap around him that held his sword on his back. His blue-purple eyes on Alex who looked quite annoyed by his statement.

"Listen I still worry, I understand she is eighteen and very much capable of watching out for herself, but I still worry that she may get hurt or worse" Alex spoke slightly elbowing the male next to her who was also known as Steve, the male sighed at her response and rolled his eyes slightly.

"She is not ten anymore she is eighteen, I'm sure she can handle herself...she definitely can throw a ax better than you ever could" he spoke then chuckled at his little insult towards Alex, the female turned around slowly and glared at Steve her green eyes showed how offended she was by that.

"Oh shut up, say's the one who will start running and crying if he so as hears a bat in a cave" Alex retorted back at Steve rolling her eyes as well. "I just...you know worry, some day a villain may try to take advantage of her powers" Alex suddenly admitted her worries to Steve, who looked at her with this tired look on his expression.

"Now that I doubt would happen, as long as no one spreads the word of what she is or what powers she has, everything will be just fine for her and us alright? Get your head out of the bees nest Alex and think about what's going on now" Steve spoke, trying to reassure that Eco will be just fine and that no villain was going to just snatch her away from their arms.

Meanwhile a small droxerian with this fur that had a very pretty blue to it, light blue stripes that gave off the softest glow, she had these small black horns on top of her head and beautiful medium sized wings. She truly looked like a little angel of which she was. Eco is a complete softie thanks to being raised by Steve and Alex. Her mother gave her to them years ago to protect her from her father. She grew up here in this very village, in this world...the lands of minecraftia.

She was currently wearing a black shirt and shorts, a choker around her neck that had this shining blue crystal attached to it, on her back was this iron sword it was a long one as well, she was walking through the village looking from left to right seeing what the villagers were up to today, didn't seem like they were up to much truthfully just the usual.

She perked her ears over at Steve and Alex hearing them argue about her she always wondered why did they always talked about possibly losing her, as far as Eco knows the worst thing she could get into is being severely injured by mobs, she doesn't know of any bigger dangers in this world other than the wither,Ender Dragon and the cave dwelling Warden. She doubts she would ever bump into those terrifying but mysterious creatures, she never even been to the nether yet just what's stories and seen the portal's to the nether.

She had quickly left the village though despite always being told to stay in the town, she hated it. She wanted to spread her wings and be free, not be cooped up in a village all the time. She is now an adult and she should be able to do what she pleases now while being careful.

"Stay in the town Eco, it's dangerous outside of it, tsk they don't get it when I was younger all I was used to was the forest...was nature I enjoy it so much" she spoke with slightly irritation in her voice, her body flinched hearing tweeting she looked up seeing little birds flying over her head she smiled softly at them.

She was heading to a little river. She loved this little spot; it was a crystal clear river with salmon swimming in it, she in fact could see some near the surface going about their day.

She looked around for half a second thats when she saw them a human near her height, he had reddish hair that was short and well kept, his skin was a peach color, I realized they were not human yet a neko with reddish cat like ears on the top of their head but not a long cat tail but a stubby one, the most interesting detail was half his face had a burn scar and a black patch on his eye there.

She guessed that they got their face burned in a fight or something. He had this beautiful eye color of gold in his good eye. He was also in a dark brown sweater and dark blue jeans with a belt around his waist, on his back was a quiver and a bow.

But her two questions were, who is this and why are they in her little spot. They soon noticed Eco and the male jumped to his feet and yanked his bow out but stopped being stunned seeing such a mysterious being standing in front of him, Eco however looked baffled that he pulled that bow out so quickly. He saw Eco had her hand on the handle of her sword now and this spooked expression on her face.

He put the bow down and narrowed that golden eye of his and spoke his voice smooth yet deep, "I never seen you before, you're the most interesting being I paired my eye on" he muttered, while shoving his bow back on his back watching as Eco relaxed but still had her guard up.

"You are the first other human I have seen, or are you not human the few cat features have me confused" She spoke gently, her voice was soft and sweet..almost pure even, this male has never met someone so pure and happy in this world ever.

"I am unfortunately not a human but a Neko basically part cat, but aside from that I'm just your usual run of the mill guy" he shrugged inspecting Eco more now, she was skinny and slender but had one nice body but he refused to let his thoughts go there as that is just wrong especially when you just met this person.

"Ah, a neko I heard of your species before, well I'm my own species as well- unfortunately I'm not from this world" She explained frowning she hated mentioning that she was not from here all it reminds her is how her mother took her here for her own safety.

"I was not expecting a answer like that now I'm interested in what and who you are" he spoke softly but cleared his throat, "but you can tell me about that later, I should properly introduce myself...I am Reed a adventure who studies the stories and tales of Minecraftia" he smiled holding out his hand to shake hers.

Eco stood there dumb founded when he reached his hand out and introduced himself, it was clear she never had much social interaction with people, "I'm uh- Eco I just live in the town nearby" she spoke and loosely shook his hand just to snatch her hand back after they shook hands, if it was not clear enough she doesn't understand how to interact well with other people.

"Well now that we introduced ourselves I think you can tell me what you are because I am interested..I never seen such an interesting species before" he spoke.

Eco inhaled and decided to begin explaining......
