Chapter 4. Lost Job

                                                                                        ALEX'S P.O.V

"Well, I don't think so!" She said and everyone's eyes came out of their sockets. I felt like my whole life was a lie that I appointed the best designer in the country for our summer collection!

"You should consider taking your words back," said Matheo with a weird reaction.

She looked at Matheo with her right brow arched, and she smirked at Matheo.

"Take a look at your collection," She said while turning the laptop towards Matheo. He looked at the laptop screen and then at Noah who was already looking at him.

He gave her a 'What's wrong' expression and she sighed with her eyes getting softer.

"So, these designs are good but there's a glitch, you've used denim in 60% of your collection"

"So what? Denim is trending nowadays." Matheo argued.

"Agreed. But, the consumer also looks for comfort. Denim is a thick fabric and though it's trending these days, it is not for summer. Whenever we shop for clothes we find season-appropriate clothing. In summer everyone prefers breathable outfits and denim won't work here."

OH MY GOD, SHE SOUNDS SO MELODIOUS WHILE EXPLAINING!

"Makes sense!" exclaimed the department manager.

And as I can see everyone does so. Matheo looked at me as he was signing me to speak something but I was so lost in her to think straight!

"What alternatives do you have in mind?" I chose to try out her abilities.

"Every kind of cotton blend, combinations with Organza, silk, and many more like these are best to beat the heat." She spoke as she sounded confident and knowledgeable.

"Okay! I need you all to work on this and yes, I need a research file in the next 3 hours on more such fabrics so that we can stand out in the market" I said and everyone nodded. After some discussions for 15 minutes, everyone left the cabin and my sight fell on Noah who was sleeping on the couch peacefully. Such a sleeping beauty she is! Awwww!

I took out a coverlet and covered her with it. When I was covering her with it, she took my hand in hers in sleep and snuggled her face in and my heart was all ready to explode. I didn't want to leave her so I sat beside her for almost 2 hours and trust me I didn't get tired of doing nothing.

After 2 hours she slowly woke up and looked around and found me beside her looking at her with our hands intertwined and she immediately pulled out of her grip, she looked at me in horror and started fixing her hair which was the cutest thing on the Earth.

She quickly got up from the couch and started going towards the door.

                                                                            AUTHOR'S P.O.V

"Where the hell do you think you are going!?" Alex almost roared at Noah and she flinched at his tone.

"I want to leave!"

"Try it"

"Of Course I don't want to live with you anymore, I just want to go back home!"

"Such bratty behavior, Amour!"

She rolled her eyes and opened the door which was shut again as Alex picked her up and settled her on the couch.

"I dare you to roll your eyes again," He said in a warning tone.

And she did it again like she didn't give a damn.

*Smack

Alex spanked her right boob and pulled her in a kiss and she moaned in his mouth. They both started kissing vigorously and she pulled him by his tie and loosened it a bit.

He broke the kiss and mumbled on her neck "Fucking brat. Someday this mouth of yours will get you in trouble"

"Why do you care? Now let me go!" She yelled

She stood at the door when she heard him saying " I know you got fired yesterday and that's why you were at the bar yesterday."

She stopped and turned around with her eyes filled with tears and soon they rolled down her cheeks. Alex walked towards her and patted her shoulder and she sniffled while saying," I s-s-s-swear I didn't ruin their d-d-d-designs. I was the one who worked day to night to make those designs successful. I-I-I-I didn't even have my meals on time. H-H-How can I do that t-t-that!? Tell me!" Alex pulled her into a hug and she buried her face in his chest with his chin on her head. She sobbed like that for a few more minutes and pulled back from the hug.

"You okay?" Alex asked in a concerned tone. She nodded and mumbled a thank you while wiping her tears. "How did you know about my job?" Noah asked.

"I have my ways you know"

                                                                       NOAH'S P.O.V

Alex had some business calls so I decided to call Ashley. She picked up the call right after two rings. "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU NOAH?!! YOU DISAPPEARED AFTER LAST NIGHT!!" She started yelling and my ears were about to bleed. "Ash, it's a long story but I need you right now. It's an escape plan so I'm texting you an address, reach out ASAP! See you soon! Bye!"

I cut the call without hearing her reply so that she could come fast.

I was sitting on the couch looking at the ceiling and thinking about what happened in the past 12 hours. Well, I'm a virgin. I know it's hard to believe but I have kept it safe for the love of my life whom I haven't come across yet. Whatever happened in the morning is so unexplainable and confusing because I never lose my control just like that. I know he is a handsome hunk but I was wet with him dominating me.

After 15 minutes, Ashley called me," I am right below the building. Come faster baby girl I wanna hear your so-called long story!"

"I'll be there in 5!" I exclaimed and hung up the call.

I slowly opened the door and saw Alex talking to someone about the project. His back was facing towards me so I took the opportunity to escape. I walked to the lift and pushed the buttons. I saw Matheo on the ground floor, he was talking with the receptionist. So I decided to go from the second door. I went out slowly and saw Ash on the other side of the road, I ran across the road and saw Alex in the glass elevator looking at me already. I quickly sat in the car and after a few seconds, I saw a black Lambo following us in the rear mirror.
