— CHAPTER 1—
(THE BEGINNING)
“ bye anak! take care! ” sabi ni mommy. “ okay mom, I will” sabi ko.
By the way I'm Luxuria Monique Ravonea. I'm a Grade 12 Student and transferring to the most famous school called "Ford University". Sa totoo lang, I don't have plan to transfer there because I don't give a fuck about what kind of schools ako a-attend but Mom suggests it na dun na lang ako ta- transfer since she wants me to experience attending to some great schools. And also Ford University can only be afforded by those people or students that have 50K to 100K+ payment for every month tuition. As you can see, only rich people lang ang makaka-enroll dito and I'm one of them ofcourse. Now, nagpe-prepare na ako sa aking bag para magpahatid kay Sir Nolan, My Personal Driver.
“Señorita Monique? Ready na po ba mga gamit mo ma'am?" tanong ni sir Nolan.
“Yes, and also don't bother to handle my bag, kaya ko na po ito Sir Nolan." sagot ko nito.
Matapos ang ilang minuto ay nakarating na ako sa Ford University.
“Senorita Monique? Nandito na po tayo.” Sabi ni Manong.
“Already? Ang dali nama—”
Naputol ang pagsasalita ko nang tumingin ako sa window ng sasakyan at namangha sa kagandahan ng ford University, Kasing taas lang nito ang Eiffel Tower sa Paris, Maganda ang structures at may Gigantic Fountain sa Gilid. Dagdagan pa ng 73 feet tall Golden Gate nito. This School screams perfect and elegance. Pagkatapos ko mamangha ay agad naman akong bumaba.
“Wala ka na po bang nakakalimutan madam?" tanong ni Sir Nolan.
“Nothing. You can go na manong, and also ingat din sa pagmamaneho.” sabi ko.
“Okay po Madam, Ingat ka din po at goodluck sa first day of school mo.” sabi ni Sir Nolan.
At agad naman akong ngumite at tumango. How sweet of him.
“Hmm...The design of the school is quite good huh? Not Bad." sabi ko.
Sometimes, I have this attitude of mine that judges every aspects of designs ma building man o ano pa jan. Judgemental ako eh but atleast I have the sense of those things kaya nga kapag may gagawin akong projects or whatever, magaganda at pleasant tignan.
Nakarating ako sa malaking TV na kasing laki rin ng mga malalaking Billboard kung saan nandon ang mga Lists ng mga Students at ng mga section kung san sila nabibilang. Nakita ko ang name ko at nabibilang ako sa Seimei na section. Agad naman akong pumunta roon at naghanap ng seat kung saan ako komportable.
“hays, what time is it naba?” sabi ko.
At tumingin sa apple watch ko. It's already 7:50 AM and sa pagkakaalala ko na nilagay na time schedule sa class namin ay 8:00 AM.
10 Minutes later ay agad nagsiupuan ang mga kaklase ko nang dumating ang prof namin.
“Hello Class Good Morning. Incase if you didn't know me, I'm. Professor Alexandra Sarion, an English Teacher.” sabi nito.
“I already introduced myself to all of you, so can someone volunteer to introduce themselves too?” ani nito.
Hindi naman ake kumibo kasi I'm not interested and kinda lazy and sleepy since napupuyat ako kaka-cp kagabi. May isang student ang nagtaas ng kamay at nagpakilala.
“Hello Classmates Good Morning to all of you! I'm Arianne Lavence, 17 years old and my hobby playing chess.” sabi nito.
“Oh! She's so pretty like an angel!”
“Ganda niya pre on grabe!”
“New Crush Unlocked!”
Bulong-Bulongan ng mga kaklase ko.
Well, she's indeed pretty but not as pretty as I am. To be honest, I'm pretending and dressing as a “Nerd Girl”. I'm wearing black glasses, no make-up, leather black jacket and pants with ponytailed hair. The reason why I am doing this is because I don't want to be center of attention dito like when I was in my previous school.
Hindi naman ako ganto manamit dati. I always wear decent and elegant dresses, when it comes to having the best sense of fashion, sure win na ako. Not gonna lie, I'm a former model in sa iba't ibang brands. But because of that some people are pestering my peaceful life. I'm super famous in my prev school dati, not just because of my beauty but also magaling din ako when it comes to
sports, academics, musics and arts. I'm living peacefully at that time but some people started to bother me especially yung mga boys sa whole campus namin and it's so annoying until it comes to the point na they already cross their lines and limits.
That's the reason why I ask mom to transfer another school where people don't know me.
Okay back to reality.
After mag Introduced ng babae ay may isa namang kaklase ko ang nagtaaa ng kamay at nagpakilala.
“Hello Classmates Good Morning! My name is Joraine Mendez, just call me raine for short. I'm a transferee but I've already known this school because this is my dream to attend her. Goodluck to us guys!” sabi nito.
At sunod-sunod namang nagsitaasan ng mga kamay ang mga kaklase ko para mag introduce. They are all already introduced themselves except for me. 'Di naman ito na notice ng mga classmates ko and prof ko so I don't bother to Introduced myself.
Nagstart na ang class namin at nagdiscuss ang prof namin hanggang nag ring ang bell.
“Okay class, I guess that's it for now. Goodbye and see you again tomorrow. Enjoy your lunch break.” sabi nito Prof. Alexandra.
Bigla namang kumalam sikmura ko kaya agad ako sa cafeteria at nag-order ng steak with sour and cream sauce and sushi. Naghanap ako ng pwedeng kaupuan at umupo.
May naglalakad patungo sa table ko kung saan ako kumakain na may dala-dalang tray with food pero binabalewala ko lang ito kasi nagugutom na talaga ako.
“Umm... Excuse me, is it okay if I sit here?” tanong nito.
“Go ahead.” sagot ko nito.
“Sorry to bother you but can I ask what's your name? I've just noticed you being silent in class earlier and didn't even introduce yourself.” tanong nito.
Huminto ako sa pag-kain at tumingin sa kanya.
“Who are you?” tanong ko.
“I'm Joraine Mendez, just call me raine.” sagot nito sa tanong ko.
